Funky Soap Black Walnut Hull Shampoo, 100% Natural Handmade, 1 bar of 120g

I was a bit skeptical at how well this could wash my hair but i thought I'd give it a go as i read about how sulphates can kill hair follicles. I took it on holiday with me to the south coast of England so my hair had sea salt, sun cream and grease in it. I wet the shampoo bar and it made bubbles immediately then rubbed it all over my wet hair. I was shocked at all the bubbles, i washed my hair and then rinsed it. It was squeaky clean immediately, after I'd washed all the bubbles out, like really squeaky clean! Then i washed it again, as i usually did 2 washes with the old shampoo, but i feel like it got it 'too clean' as in it may have made it feel a bit dry on the ends. So now i only do one wash with it so it doesn't strip the natural oils from my hair. It's a really good wash for my hair and it feels soft and clean for about 6 days! I will be using this shampoo bar from now on as it's eco friendly, a decent price and i like using natural products as much as possible.

Great shampoo, my hair feels stronger and healthy, and it's really shiny. Takes a little patience to lather up but those who use shampoo bars on the reg will know that already! Worth it though as it's all natural, and good for your hair.

I’d been using another shampoo bar for about a month and found my hair was really waxy and almost stuck together. I really want to give up conventional shampoo so I decided however my hair looks I am going to persist with natural shampoo bars for a couple of months. I read the reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I’m so pleased I bought it! My hair looks so shiny without being waxy. I rubbed the soap in my hands, applied this directly to my hair and rinsed our thoroughly. I did this process twice and finished with an Apple cider vinegar rinse. My hair is so soft and feels really clean. A great product, the only downside that it is on the expensive side but I’m sure it will last a long time.

It took a couple of weeks for my hair to adjust to this product though saying that, I had used the foam created from a wash puff then I used the bar directly on my hair after two weeks. So I recommend you try it straight on your hair to start.During the first 2 weeks, my hair was waxy at the ends, dry elsewhere and generally yucky. Now, I'm pleased with it. Yes, as described it has a 'dry' feeling to it when wet but after it has dried, it feels good and most importantly, looks good when dry. It gives my hair a little volume/body which I like compared to my previously fine and flat hair.Also, it seems to have made my hair a shade darker.I highly recommend and do persevere with it.

I was a bit reluctant to try as I have monofibre hair extensions to thicken my hair up and sometimes using oily products can make them slip out. However I spoke to my hairdresser and she said to try it as soap doesn't feel oily. Normally I have to wash my fine hair every day as it gets greasy but even then it can be quiet fly away and flat. I used this for the 1st time and my hair felt squeaky clean and when dried had more body, I didn't wash it the next day but did wet it as generally when I wake up my hair is all over the place. It felt clean not at all greasy anyway I washed it the day after and now this is the 2nd day I haven't washed it and it still looks really nice. I would highly recommend this product Obviously I will see how I get on but so far just not having to wash my hair every day is great and as this does not strip my hair I'm hoping for stronger healthier hair as time goes on.Worth mentioning when I purchased 1st didn't want to use on my extensions so gave it to my my mum and Dad they have both been using since Middle of May and love it. My mums itchy scalp has gone and my Dads hair looks great!

2018 Lathers really well and hair is softer/easier to comb. At first it does leave a bit of a residue feel but I think that is because you are slowly removing residue of other products. It does not totally dry out your hair so has a level of moisturising to it. My hair feels softer and easier to comb after using this.UPDATE 2022: 5 stars now reduced to 2. Not sure if ingredients or ratio have changed, but this now shrivels my hair with just one wash, no slip, hair gets very tangly, so I wont be buying again. (only bought again cos it is cheaper). Used on 2 separate occasions, but have to throw away.I'm going back to the liquid version which I used for years - it costs more but gives great lather, great slip and detangles.

I have been using this shampoo for about a month and a half now. I had never tried natural shampoos before and was positively surprised - it's amazing!My hair is thin and limp and gets greasy really fast. This shampoo washes it thoroughly and leaves it fresh. It doesn't flatten my hair and gives it a bit of texture. Rinsing with vinegar adds smoothness and shine, been doing this every once in a while.It says in the instructions that you might have to give your hair time to adjust to natural shampoo. I was a bit scared of this "transition phase" but it never came.The shampoo bar has a relatively strong smell of essential oils which I'm not too keen on. It doesn't leave much of a smell on the hair, though.It hasn't changed my hair colour but maybe slightly emphasised the natural high & low lights.I have been using this shampoo with Funky Soap Argan Oil & Ylang Ylang conditioner. Would definitely buy again!

Been looking for that most elusive of unicorns, s shampoo that my hair loves, that works for me and that is preferably not hurting the planet.This ticks to of those boxes but that is down to my odd situation rather than shampoo bar. I've been growing out my grey hair and at the moment my hair is half white and half black so finding something that works for both of these opposites is proving very hard indeed.This bar was easy to use, barely shrank from use and left my hair so soft and silky that my husband commented on it. Unfortunately is also left my white hair a bit darker in colour which is not something I want. Perfect if you are not wanting your growing out grey hair to stand out too much and are looking to have the rest of your hair shine.The product itself is very, very good quality, but not suited to my specific situation

Funky Soap stellt Naturkosmetik her, die nicht nur gut für die Haut ist, sondern auch bezahlbar ist.Diese Haarwaschseife ist speziell für dunkeles Haar gedacht, da sie mit pflegenden Inhaltsstoffen die Haarfarbe zum leuchten bringt.Die Seife ist bei mir seit 2 Monaten in Verwendung nur ca. halb aufgebraucht (zur Referenz: mein Haar ist durchschnittlich dick, schulterlang und ich wasche 3x/Woche). Die Haare müssen sich erst ein wenig an die Seife gewöhnen, da diese nicht soo viel schäumt und auch keine üblichen Chemikalien enthält.Nach ca. 1 Monat konnte ich einen angenehmen Glanz meiner Haare feststellen und die Farbe wirkte leuchtender- hier ist jedoch nicht der durch Silikone hervogerufene übertriebene Glanz zu erwarten, er wirkt natürlich und gesund. Meine Haare sind auch nach dem 2. Tag nur mäßig fettig und fühlen sich weich an.Ich werde diese Seife definitiv noch mal kaufen und kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. :)

Lo sto usando da circa un mese, un paio di volte a settimana e sono forse a un terzo del prodotto. All'inizio non vedevo alcun giovamento rispetto al colore scuro (i capelli molto scuri naturali tendono a spegnersi e hanno bisogno di luce) ma dopo qualche lavaggio ho notato un colore pieno e una luminosità pazzesca. Sui miei capelli dunque lava delicatamente e fa quello che promette. E' una formula abbastanza bilanciata né particolarmente sgrassante né troppo ricca. Io ho deciso di alternarlo con quello per capelli grassi; se invece avete i capelli secchi potete idratare il capello con oli e maschere successivi allo shampoo. Lo consiglio però solo a chi ha capelli scuri, altrimenti sono più indicate altri shampi della FunkySoap.

Usato per sei mesi su capelli ricci tendenti al crespo, acque dure. Il mio giudizio è totalmente positivo lascia i capelli morbidi non untuosi e ricci al naturale. Crea una schiuma soffice e densa. Ha un buon odore di noce. Brucia se va negli occhi, prestare attenzione.

Ho i capelli castani scuri tendenti al secco e mi sto trovando molto bene. Mi ha ravvivato il colore. Dopo lo shampoo per ammorbidirli un pò uso comunque un balsamo naturale.
