Significantly less prone to kinking than ‘standard’ garden hose, although not kink proof. You can still get it to kink if you’re careless when pulling it across the garden. The hose also tends to take a set - if you do kink it, or put in a sharp bend, the hose will retain a curl for a couple of minutes because of the stiff pipewall. The ends are less prone (in fact, much less prone) to fraying than my old garden hoses, which is good news when fitting Hoselock-style couplings. However, on the negative side, the sturdy walls of the hose mean that the fit is very tight.Despite the small shortcomings, this is a great hose - it’s proven to be resilient to repeated rollovers by cars on our (tarmac) driveway; water flow seems to be better than through our old hose; and the resistance to kinking is a real bonus. At this price of around £15 for 30m (around 50p a metre), it’s tremendous value.

Good value for money but may buckle in prices

Our old hose recently went to the great garden in the sky, after several years of active service. So, being time for a new hose, I decided on this one because I seem to have read "does not kink" unfortunately it does, but then again they probably all do. However, it is nowhere near as kinky as our old one (or my first wife, for that matter). So all in all, we are happy with it.

5 years old. Virtually kink free, solid, no holes. Brass fittings attach securely. Heavy. Reliable.But no real warranty (but is it needed when it's this good?). And nothing on heavy metal contents or plasticisers. Used for plants only.Compared to my new gardena high flex, this is fab. The high flex kinks like crazy, is soft and pliable. So I've given the draper 5* bit gardena a preliminary 4, based on it's supposed durability and no heavy metals / plasticisers. Based on value and ease of use it'd be lucky to get 3*. Because the high flex is a pain.

After using hoselock for 25yrs, it was time to replace our garden hose, so I went back to hoselock. BIG mistake.So after 1yr the hoselock has worn out.I've bought many products from Draper so I thought I would give their garden hoses a try.Excellent quality, a nice firm hose and comparing it is more like what we bought 25yrs ago.Time will tell, but I have now placed an order for a second 30m one.And what a great price I feel that not only was it a better hose but great value. Do not buy, purchased as it was a well known brand & stated heavy duty, but used it only 3 times before it swelled up like a balloon, popped & squirted water everywhere. It’s also bubbled up in 2 other places, looking like it will happen again, so returning for a refund.

Need to be careful when winding back onto a reel, because it can easily twist and kink badly.Not heavy duty, but ok otherwise.

Attention au diamètre c'est du 12mm, le standard est du 15.Sinon correspond à mes attentes.

Abbiamo usufruito di 90 metri di questo tubo per fare qualcosa che non è inerente al suo utilizzo e quindi stressandolo in situazioni ben diverse!Devo dire che mi ritengo più che soddisfatto di questo triplice acquisto, inserendo delle cordine apposite all'interno e rivestendolo, è stato utilizzato per creare delle corde per ring 6x6 amatoriale per incontri di muay thai, sembrerà assurdo ma così facendo abbiamo risparmiato ingenti somme per creare un evento low cost fatto dalle tasche degli organizzatori e a scopo no profit.Di certo per reggere il peso delle persone, lo stress di stiramento del tubo, di certo non avrà nessuna paura nell'irrigare il vostro giardino.Super consigliato, probabile che sia utileanche per strangolare qualcuno che vi sta sui maroni, ma questo non l'abbiamo voluto testare in palestra.Di certo non consiglio di utilizzarlo per tali occasioni, 5 stelle più che meritate, tubo di tutto rispetto.

una manguera bastante decente por ese precio, la goma es de buena calidad y es bastante dificil que se doble aunque tambien a veces pasa, pero en definitiva estoy contento con la compra y la recomiendo

Leider habe ich den Fehler gemacht und einfach einen Schlauch gekauft bei einem Baumarkt hier vor Ort... Folge war dann das dieser sehr Empfindlich war und ich nicht lange Freude damit hatte.Nun habe ich auf Arbeit mich schlau gemacht bei Gartenfreunden und Hausbesitzern was die denn für Schläuche nehmen fast jeder hat mir diesen hier genannt.Also bin ich dem Rat gefolgt und habe mir eben diesen gekauft.Wir haben diesen Schlauch für unsere Aquarien, Wasserbett und auch für unsere Pflanzen im Einsatz.Dieser Schlauch macht viel mit ob mal ein Knick oder ziehen alles kein Thema! Er ist sehr Robust und macht vieles mit!!!Fazit:Dieser Schlauch ist Robust also Ideal für Haus und Garten!
