Item arrived promptly. Used on new TG chopping board. No discernable scent. Need to use a very small amount. No sticky residue. Time will tell if it offers protection. No reason to expect it won't.

A great product
This is amazing stuff! I have dark hard wooden work tops. They take a real punishing and this oil brings them up like new. Just wipe it on leave for a while and wipe over with a soft cloth. I've tried so many other items that just didn't work so now I stick to the tried and tested oil that I know works.
