Fairly Discreet & Great Picture
I've used HIK for a while and bought this camera to use on my driveway. It's perfect, great picture night and day if focused correctly. The infrared can cause glare if pointing at too many close surfaces.

Unable to aim left or right...
This camera, as is normal with HIkvision products, is easy to connect and use - no problems here. BUT the lens can only be moved in one axis - so you can't aim it to the left or right. This is a real problem for most wall-mounted applications. If you only need to aim it in one axis, it's fine. NB you can, of course, rotate the image - so you could mount the camera sideways, aim left or right as needed then rotate the image - but the resulting image is stretched and I could not find a way to fix this. I'll end up making a wedge shape to put behind the mounting box to aim the camera a bit to the right but this is FAR from ideal. You have been warned...

Terrible. Replaced with excellent Reolink
Absolutely awful camera. The picture struggles for quality in most conditions. Becomes overwhelmed in bright sun and you lose definition and contrast. At night when using the infrared it was poor and had a white cloudiness to the picture.Don’t waste your time and money. The Reolink is way better in every regard - and a bit cheaper!! The first picture is the HiLook and the second is the Reolink. You really see the difference when you zoom in on live stream. The HiLook loses detail and becomes more cloudy whereas the Reolink stays sharp.

Not impressed.
Not impressed. S3VC cameras give a better picture and much better night vision. At night this camera picks out anything light and then that's it. Very poor.More than likely will be returned under the terms not fit for purpose.
