Like: There is only one button to press to call for help. Each remote alert box takes 3 AAA batteries (readily available). Call button takes 1 button battery 2032. The cover Is held in place by a #6 machine screw that is about as long as the case is thick. Replacing button battery takes good dexterity as a very thin silicone gasket has to be precisely placed before reassembling the cover.Working distance is good. My detached workshop is 85 ft straight line to my elderly mother’s room & the alarm/pager worked well. The remotes are a bit large for pocket carry at about 1”x2”x5”. Remotes sound digital tunes (selectable) And or flashing blue LED. 3 Volume levels. Glad I got it.Update: 4 months later- one remote pager stopped responding to the call button. Other one still works. Will update when the other pager quits.

I've had this unit for just under a year. I also bought one for a friend in another state who is also a caregiver for her mom. I also am a caregiver for my mom. My friend had one unit stop responding about 3-4 months ago. Not because of battery or any other obvious reason. One of my units just stopped working today. Also not because of battery. In fact you can still choose the tune you want. It just doesn't respond to the beeper on my mother's necklace. Our other receiver still receives and works. Even so, for the price, they've been very helpful. They are loud if you need them to be. Up until today the unit was able to receive transmission downstairs in the basement with the door shut. I am looking into replacing one receiver. Also, the receiver does seem to go through batteries fairly rapidly, in my opinion. It takes three AAA batteries. So I just keep a lot on hand, such as a package from Costco. I used to have a different brand that I was unable to find anymore that cost at least 3 times as much and only had one receiver. It was nicer in that the transmitter part was not as big and bulky but smaller and rounded. But it only had one receiver and no choice in the sound it makes. So overall, this is probably a worthwhile investment and cheap if you have to replace any of it.After looking more at the site where this is sold I have discovered there are re-pairing instructions! So, I will try this in the morning and then update this.

I've had the product for 3 days now and I've tested it 20 times. 12 times the notification unit works when the red button is pressed, the other 8 times nothing happens. This is a complete failure since there is no way to know if the unit is NOT working. The caregiver would not have any indication. It seems to me that this product is using cheap parts or was never engineered properly to begin with. I would gladly pay twice it three times as much for a consistent product but one doesn't exist that I can find on Amazon, so I'm left with no options. Happy to hear about other users' product recommendations.

It arrived very fast and efficient and easy to get it to working. Has 45 tones to choose from. I just picked the loudest to wake me up if needed. HIs bedroom is on one end of the house & mine on the other end of a 4 bedroom Ranch house with 3 baths and no problem reaching. Has a light that flashes and tone and I use both. Battery, C2032A I think was already in his button he can wear around neck or lay on table. Other AAA's I had to purchase.

I got this to use as a door bell to my teenagers room. Waking him up for school is a nightmare of running up the stairs 10 times! Not anymore the annoying cat setting is brilliant! Only downfall is I haven’t figured out how to shut it off once it starts going from the actual patient call button. I wish! But this unit will get someone’s attention and works as we needed it to!

Needed this when my mom fell and broke her shoulder. She slept downstairs and we needed something to alarm us when she needed help in the night... Had no issues with the range, worked in any corner of the house without an issue, even in the basement. would definitely recommend this esp to those who have seniors living with them.

Right off the bat I liked this product. Simple to use and good enough range for elderly mother-in-law to let son in basement or husband outside in yard that she needed assistance. Unfortunately, one of the receivers stopped working after only 4 months, after the return window had closed. Will contact seller to see if they would sell just a separate receiver and will update review after that.

Works very well to alert me to a possible problem. All my mom has to do is push the button! The alert music is very loud and easily heard.

It worked perfectly until recently blue light began to flash, and the unit died today. It drains 3 AAA batteries within less than 2 months. The unit was set to ring only, and it rang once per 2-3 days. Despite the fact batteries aren't cheap, my wife's also worry about whether the unit are producing radiation around all the time. Otherwise 3 AAA batteries should not be drained that fast. We have these batteries in motion activated lights at home, and they could last even longer than the caregiver unit. Now we are hesitating to replace new batteries.

I ordered this for a family member that is living with us who is terminally ill and has mobility issues. Her bedroom is on a different floor from ours and we wanted a call button for her bedroom and her bathroom. 1 of the buttons doesn’t work. Disappointing.

Il a bien fonctionné mais après quelques semaines, je pouvais éteindre l'alarme mais je ne pouvais pas éteindre la lumière qui clignotait... les piles se sont épuisées rapidement. Je l'ai ouvert et coupé le fil de la lumière mais les piles ne duraient pas... je l'ai jeté mais aurait dû le retourner...

Basic call system easy to set up & use. I bought it for my elderly father & he finds it easy to use call button. The receivers have only need battery replacement once since purchase
