Great value. Great product

For the price, it does a good job But if you have a heavy case it's difficult well at least I found it so It will need two people one to lift and the other to check the weight

I wouldn't call this a high-quality gadget but it does the job. Build quality is average and the dial looks cheap but it works, and that's what matters. At 10cm, excluding the hook, it's also larger than I expected and had a sturdy handle.Although intended for weighing luggage, I use mine for weighing gas bottles in my campervan. The hook is just the right size from which to suspend a Calor Gas bottle and by recording the weight when full and subtracting the weight of the gas inside, it's possible to judge approximately how much gas is left. Without any scale or index on the bottle, it's otherwise impossible to judge with any accuracy and having run out on a recent trip, I know have an idea of how much is left and when a bottle needs to be replaced. It's a much more effective method than using the highly-unreliable Propane Gas Level Indicator and offers excellent value for money.

Maybe tellingly this is written 25 minutes after the world cup didn't want to come home 11.7.18, however that's only because I never feel like reviewing anything (honest guv!) but now I have the hump in motion. I wish I had taken my wife's earlier advice and not said "reviews, hah, it's all a load of made up c##p" and actually read the previous reviews of this product. It's not likely the pound shop would have this product in the middle of their crackers, a car boot sale novice would laugh in the face of this utter fluff of a product. It's so not worth buying, it hurts me to look at it now as I am doing. There isn't a way to reset it (change it's arrival stupidity), despite the unbelievably hieroglyphic instructions. It's a product that is inherently evil - as I resorted to sticking a thin'ish object into the side of a part as shown by the childlike instructions to see if anything could be done to make it work...it made me bleed, lots and I think it liked it. In short it doesn't work and doesn't even look from the package you receive its going to be making any effort to make you happy (that's really hard to achieve but somehow it does it). The only saving grace is you don't lose too much money and, maybe like me, cant be bothered to send it back or complain. Rubbish, total shuddering nonsense. let the company keep taking £3 off people and write a desperate review like me. God, £3 for this, what was I thinking would happen, people take note!

I preferred a mechanical rather than digital scale as they can generally be more reliable. The hook was adequate but would have been easier to use if it was larger. The weight on the scale for my suitcase matched the weight on the airline scale.
