Not very harsh, does a wonderful job. Spreads easily, non sticky, no unpleasant perfume. Warmly recommended !

I am a licensed esthetician. This serum is lightweight, sinks into the skin quickly. My skin looks and feels amazing. I do use an HA serum and Squalane to ‘seal it in’.

I really love this product! It does wonders to exfoliate bumpy, dry, flaky skin, removing dead skin cells and allowing the bumps to slowly disappear. Its consistency is very liquidy so I mix with a thicker serum and lotion, and it blends well and also effective. At the cost of just $13, this is a miracle in a bottle. I highly recommend it.

Pretty good serum for the price. Light weight. Leaves skin feeling smooth. Seems like good quality.

I have rosacea and sensitive skin and I've used a lot of different products to keep it in check. My ingredient checker lists 3 'superstars' and 13 'goodies' with nothing icky in this PHA solution - I think that is a record high. There are no ingredients with any irritancy rating, and one ingredient has a one rating for comedogenicity (pore clogging), which is basically nothing. That's pretty amazing. The price may seem a little high for this little bottle, but it really only takes a few drops. This bottle will last me ages and it doesn't expire until 3.2025. I have a hard time finding gentle exfoliants that don't have icky ingredients and don't irritate my skin, this product is at the top of a very short list.I usually only use PHA exfoliants. PHAs work slower than AHA (alpha hydroxy) and aren't nearly as harsh, which is great for people with sensitive skin. This one is thin, which makes this easier to apply, but it's a little tricky the first couple attempts. I had to use less so it didn't drip. This is a clear, thin liquid with almost no discernible scent. There's a touch of something, but it's barely there and I smell nothing once it's on.I went without moisturizer for awhile the first time I used it - in part to let it work, in part to see how it feels alone. They do recommend people with sensitive skin use this with a serum or cream, it seems like they mean at the same time, or maybe right after? I took a photo of these instructions. After the first use, I used a hydraulic acid serum a few minutes later for the extra moisture and a bit of a buffer. This is pretty moisturizing so most people probably won't need that, and can use this fairly regularly (the bottle suggests 2x/day but that seems like a bit much, even for a gentle PHA). I use it about 2-3x a week, more if my skin is extra dry, or if I have patchy areas I'll just use a dab where I need it.They also note on the box that the low PH may cause a sting depending on your skin. I may get a tiny bit of that occasionally, but it's not much at all, and I don't get any irritation. As with any exfoliant, they also recommend patch testing and following with a sunscreen if used in the morning (shouldn't we anyway, though?).As for how it works, it's pretty awesome. Besides no irritation and this being more moisturizing than expected, this really helps get rid of all that extra dry skin. I tend to get stubborn patches of dryness, and this really helps smooth those areas out. Makeup becomes easier to apply, on those occasional days I actually use it, and my skin just feels and looks smoother and healthier. I have less rosacea inflammation and breakouts when I don't have big dry areas clogging up my skin, too.I would definitely recommend this PHA exfoliant. This is really the way to go if you have sensitive skin and AHA (alpha hydroxy) makes your skin go into revolt. Unfortunately, I thought this was some kind of peel off solution at first, due to the repeated use of the word 'peeling.' I meant it when I said they didn't NEED a pretty label, but it probably wouldn't hurt if they made it look like a beauty product instead of a prescription that users might be compelled to hide away in the medicine cabinet.

This facial serum leaves my skin feeling smooth & it is non-irritating. Great product for the price! Would recommend.

The product works great. It has helped with acne spots and hyper pigmentation. It does feel heavy on the skin, absorbs easily, and doesn't leave me feeling greasy. Overall, great product and would recommend.

I’ve used this PHA exfoliate three times a week for about a month now, and it does an excellent job of removing the dead skin cells from my face. My face is clearer!
