Best 17" laptop bag - good quality - spaciousThis bag has 2 pockets; the main pocket has a padded sleeve to securely retain your laptop (17" - small laptops may move about a bit) then there is enough space in the main pocket to fit 2 bulky 3.5 hard drive avi players, several cables and a laptop power adapter. The 2nd pocket is smaller and has useful pockets for CDs, USBs, pens and other small items.The product is made to a good quality; The bag is rain proof and comfortable. It spreads out the weight across your shoulders which makes it feel lighter than it actually is. The padded straps and back cushion the weight from digging in and prodding you. This bag can be laden with heavy electronics and you can still carry it a fair few miles without pains or discomfort. I regularly take the train or work to work with this bag.Do NOT over fill the bag too many times because I broke the zip on my last one because I regularly forced the zip closed to take more stuff to and from uni. But it is the best bag for the protection and carrying of my laptop so I brought it again. The first bag lasted over 3 years of strain and excessive loading.Extra features - removable phone pocket which securely attaches to the strap, 2 net pockets on the outside on the the sides for bottles, earphone slot in the top of the bag so you can thread your headphones out with the bag closed, waist strap which benefit I cannot explain (but it doesn't get in the way if you dont use it) and both pockets have dual zips with pad lock eyes so you can lock your bag with most suitcase pad locks.I would recommend this bag to anyone who has a 17" laptop and wants to carry a stuff

I found this backpack a surprising success,basing my purchase on previous reviews i was rewarded with a lightweight and well balanced product.Interior wise a large slot more than catered for my HP Elitebook (12") with space to spare for a slimline folder and kept closed via a velcro fastner.Two smaller pockets for a portable drive aand other smaller items while a mesh pocket held the battery,there was also ample room for other accesories and a camera and books.A full compliment still weighed less than 6 Kg.The pack rests high on the back and does not put undue weight on your shoulders so giving a comfortable experience with no strain apparent and the straps for both shoulders and waist are easily accessed and give strong support without restricting movement.A recent trip to Italy proved,to me,the excellent choice i made.

This is a great backpack. I had used my previous one for 6 years or so on daily basis. Finally the zip for the main compartment began malfunctioning.So bought the same bag as replacement. After few days of use, one of the zips in the front inner compartment (for the netted pocket) broke off. I still use it regularly, but slightly disappointed by this issue.Four stars for the replacement backpack. 6 stars for my first backpack (which I still use sometimes)

First one I ordered got lost in the post :-( When I eventually got the bag I was very pleased with it. Good quality material and space for my works 17" laptop no problem. My only minor gripe is there isn't a great deal of space front to back. Once my laptop is in and diary with a few other bits n bobs then its pretty crammed. Still I love the bag and the space isn't a major issue for me. It's very well constructed and very comfy to carry, even the carry handle seems well built and comfy.

This arrived in good time and was definitely a good buy for my new Dell Laptop. The only downside is that the velcro strap on the laptop pocket is obviously made for the larger laptops. My 14" Dell is not strapped in securely by the strap. If the manufacturers had made the velcro area on the strap longer that would have made all the difference.Still a very sturdy and excellent bag for my travels. I especially like the hidden pocket in the back lumber panel. Very useful.

I have a job that requires me to carry a laptop all over the country and abroad. This has enough space to carry my laptop and necessary paperwork & also leaves enough room for a single night's stop over and emergency food (I am diabetic).The bag is comfortable to walk around with and has given me no problems since purchase with all zips etc still sound and working.The bag takes a good sized laptop, but I found it useful to use some sticky Velcro just to increase the length of the strap to ensure my laptop sits securely in the bag.

I've used this lap top bag every day now for a couple of months. Sometimes I over load it but it remains in good condition and still looks like new. Comfortable to wear. I've done a few lengths & breaths of the country on the trains with this bag and a case. For the cost I can't fault it. The outside compartments prove useful.

This bag is well put together and very versatile.It easily holds my 15in Dell laptop and new MacBook Pro at the same time.The straps are sturdy and will no doubt take some amount of punishment.Easily worth the money and probably the best ricksack I have bought for work/leisure purposes.
