Really impressed with the finish
I bought this because it was cheap and not too brassy. I used it to paint the inside of a lampshade and it worked beautifully. It is very thin and needs 2/3 coats, but, I think this is, perhaps, why the finish is so smooth. It is a subtle classy gold colour and I loved it

Lovely Colour!
Although the container is quite small this paint goes a long way. If you're looking to achieve an antique look this is excellent applied with a small sponge on top of a matte black paint.

Amazing quality. Bit expensive
Really nice good quality slick and shiny looking gold paint. Would've been 5 stars but for the size of the pot you get, it's incredibly pricey.

Very good
Used this for some detail work on some frames. Worked really well and was opaque in two coats. It's a small pot, but I feel I still have loads left, so I think it will last a while. My only "complaint" is that the week after I bought it, I found it cheaper in Wilko.I have no complainst about the product though. It gives a dull, just slightly gleaming gold, which is just what I was after. It definitely comes out as gold and not yellow when it's dried, so Im happy with it.

nice golden colour
I used it to fill in words written on the wall. It needed 2 layers and it gave a beautiful gold metalic finish. It's not yellow and it's not antique/ bronze. It shines beautifully when the light is switched on.

Classy gold paint.
After trying various other gold paints that didn’t cover well, I bought this as reviews were good. It brushes on smoothly and gives a very nice medium gold finish, not brash, yellow or gaudy. I painted dark brown picture frames and needed two coats to achieve a slightly distressed gold, which I am pleased with. If I wanted complete cover it would have needed another coat. You do have to stir it well every time. It dries quickly and doesn’t smell, brushes clean easily in water. I would buy this brand again.

Very small but goes a long way
Really small tin, but easy to use and it does look like gold. It takes 2 coats or even 3 in places to make the proper solid gold colour as it can "bead" when you first apply it. I used it to pick out scrolling details on a wooden bed and wardrobe which I had painted white. I have plenty left.
