update: received mine and have used it a couple times since. works great and easy to use. i compared to the accuracy with my matco digital gauge and they are both spot on to each other. i trust it will outlive the digital matco one!i actually dont have mine yet i had only just ordered it. im getting this one as a backup and alternative (for short valve stems) to a digital matco one i have at work.my grandpa has had one since the 90s and it is still going strong today, have only had the hose and fitting replaced several times. that being the reason for my 5 stars and not having owning it just yet lolin response to randall's review, the "locking" aspect of the chuck is that there are threads inside of it to help grip the valve stem while pressing down on it. it is not a true lock and let go mechanism. it may seem like a gimmick but it does assist in reducing the force required to hold a good seal between tool and valve stem

Quality built

This is a very good inflator. The PSI is easy to read in the window. It is easy to use and seats well on the valve stem. I use it to keep my tractor and lawn equipment aired up and also my Ram and Subaru. I also inflate my Rams Firestone Air Bags with it because the valve stems are in a hard-to-reach place between the bumper and the tailgate. This straight chuck orientation makes it simple and easy to reach it with no fuss. Love it. Bought a second one to keep in my ViAir portable inflation kit in my truck for use on the road. It's that good.

The accuracy of this product stinks, at this $ it should be a lot more accurate. I filled my motorhome tires at 105lb when I put the TPS back on the valve stems it read 97-99lb. I also filled up my truck tires and the TPS in the truck read 65lb and the gage on this product read 70-72lb. Also the gage numbers are starting to wear off making it difficult to read the lines. I waited to long to return this item so i am stuck with it, I guess I will need to buy a quality pressure gage to check the air pressure to get accurate readings since this won't.

Went to use the inflator and learned that it leaks out of one of the nozzles. I’m not familiar with this style so I took it apart and there is a little rubber ball that is in there that can fall back and forth between the two nozzles. In order to use this thing you tilt the head so that the ball rolls down and plugs the nozzle you don’t want to use. Will probably take some getting used to and I’m not totally sure I like it. It basically means you can only fill tire valves in a certain position. However, I’m guessing it’s more reliable than other designs. I guess we’ll see.

I'm very pleased that the built in gauge is reasonably accurate. Well, reasonably accurate with the graduations on the scale compared to my test gauges. Great combination gauge and fill.

My only complaint is that it cannot be used to deflate a tire while measuring psi very well. It needs to be hooked up to an air line in order to read psi and there is no pressure relief valve on it so I have to deflate the tire using my little screwdriver and then read it with the gauge. It is very accurate but you do need to inflate to about 2psi higher than you want, take it off the valve stem and put it back on to double check it got to the proper psi. It is what I expected, I prefer this style, it has some good weight to it feeling like it's better quality than cheap gauges. Worth every penny and I use it every day.

This air chuck/gauge is fantastic. It is used consistently in an industrial setting. The psi measurement is accurate as I have compared its reading with other gauges.
