Unfortunately this wasn't a great replacement remote for my TV. I bought the replacement because the icons on the buttons are worn off on my original remote. This remote did not perform well for me.

I bought this as a replacement for the remote that came with the TV we have and I've gotta say, I'm not impressed with it. The cursor is somewhat unreliable as it works very well half the time and hardly at all at other times. I'd say just save the money and go and get the official remote from LG than deal with this one.

If you can spare a few more dollars, get the real thing from LG. This one is very light and feels cheap. The magic cursor is quite unresponsive compared to the real ones.

Very limited function on Lg J8000Range is very poor with small sweet spot.My factory remote can be pointed away from tv and it works fine.
