Love this rc! Runs great and has great battery life. My kids love taking it out in the driveway and driving it everywhere. Runs great and very durable. Price is great too! Love the color it came in

I collect RC vehicles. I have six helicopters, three cars, and an Abrams tank. This is the first off-road type RC car I have. Right out of the box I was impressed with the quality of the construction. It came complete with the car, the controller, a small screwdriver for taking off the battery covers on the car and controller, a USB battery charging cable, and a very nice detail, two car battery packs. The two things it did not come with are three AA batteries for the remote control, and an actual battery charger. I have several old Samsung cell phones, and the charger from one of those works well to charge the battery pack. All I had to do to get the car going was put AA batteries in the controller, remove the battery cover on the car, plug in the battery pack, and put the cover back on. One of the battery packs was already in the car but not plugged in to the car. The battery packs came charged up. There is an on/off switch on the bottom of the car, and another one on the controller. This is a fast car. The box says 22 kilometers per hour. I raced it around my bedroom, but with the large soft knobby tires I am looking forward to running it outside. Having two battery packs in nice because you can be charging one pack while you are driving the car with the other pack.

Not fast so cant do any tricks. Batteries though long time charged are not lasting more than few minutes

I really wanted to like this more but there were too many issues for me to give this anymore than the three stars I did. While the quality of the materials on the truck itself feel decent, corners were definitely cut elsewhere. First off, the vehicle model is very attractive, besides the silly looking faux spare tire that doesn't match the real ones, the trucks exterior is rather sturdy. It has working independent front suspension, but a solid rear axle means it just has a single rear suspension pivot point. The headlights sadly are just dark plastic. The batteries took appx 4hrs to charge initially with the included USB charger. After that, they take about appx 1hr 30min to reach full. I'd like to mention that the reason for the long time is the fact that the charger operates at 250mah, so it's essentially a trickle charger. The battery plate on the bottom of the vehicle requires that a small screw be removed every time you need to swap battery pack. this is part of the reason I would not suggest this for small children without parental guidance due to how easy it would be to lose and not be able to use the vehicle. Why they made the battery plate without the nubs to click in place is beyond me. The remote is where they really cut corners, although the material is passable, the linkage of the steering wheel is very flimsy. The model doesn't have any proportional functions. The remote only clicks to full speed forward or reverse. same goes for the steering wheel. This makes driving in small places a little frustrating due to the lack of precise control. Its speed left a lot to be desired as well, the claimed 22km is quite over exaggerated. It's not even running or slow jogging speed, its power walking speed. With practice I could drive it around my living room and did have some fun moments. Outside it handled ok on the pavement once I corrected the steering trim on the model's underside, the spotty dirt and grass next to the drive was handled ok too but more than 2 inches of grass and it struggled. Run time was appx 12-15 minutes depending on how hard you ran it. So, although this model is functional, I really get hung up on the fact that some of my smaller scale models perform better, have lights and cost a third less than the price asked for this one. It looks great on the shelf, but don't expect too much on the performance end.

Car ran full speed for 18 minutes on asphault on one battery which is in line with the time listed in the description. Car comes with 2 batteries so you can run for for twice as long. Running on grass will decrease run time. The turn raduis was good especially for when you run in areas that aren't large. Distance for remote is good and when the car is out of range for the remote, the car stops so you don't have to worry about losing it. The front bumper is tough. I ran into several things at full speed and it held up.

Steering is easy. Goes fast enough to entertain my pre-teen son. Battery lasts quite a while and comes with a spare one to double the amount of fun he has. Takes about an hour to charge the battery. My son has built jump ramps and obstacle courses for it and it has held up in quality. Great little RC car.

It's just a nice beginners RC car. Battery is not great.
