Great detective series!
Since the first book the writing has gotten better and better. Very much enjoying the series. I love that the author weaves a complex plot that leaves you guessing whodunnit.

Don't Read if you ohave a weak stomach!
I have read this series and enjoyed the first books but this one left me cold. The books are much better written than many today with fewer typos and grammatical errors. Plots and characters are good, but if you do not like horror, don't read this one. I prayed each night that I would not have nightmares as I read this book. Also, there were some unanswered questions and the book ended up-in-the-air. I do not like this. It forces the reader to buy the next book and that seems unethical to me. Each book should stand on its own. I did not like the one who turned out to be the killer either. I felt that was not in the character of that person. Oh, well, I will read the next one and hope Lewis got back on track.

Great Read
This is the third book in the series. It picked up the last book seamlessly. I read it straight through. Looking forward to the next book.

Books keep amazing me
I never get tired of these well written books. Just finished my 4th and downloading #5. The characters are real--the good, the bad and the ugly and each plot fresh and full of interesting twists.

Another Enjoyable Read
These Fenalla Sallow novels are always interesting, even with the occasional “British” slang word I don’t understand. This one was a bit more gruesome than the others, but I enjoyed the complicated plot. Plus, the ending was totally unexpected.

lots of mystery
Really liked this story. Surprise ending didn’t expect. Going on to next read so can continue with interesting new characters and where Dexter is going.

Answered Bones / N.C. Lewis
Fenella Sallow is a unique character. Starting out , I wasn’t sure if I could continue this series, but now, after # 4 , I will continue to the end! Love Detective Sallow and her cast of quirky characters. They get things done and they have heart!

I really enjoy these books and I even figured out the killer in this one
I just wish the author would describe the physical appearance of the characters? It is difficult to know I think Dexter is black?

Another great Bones blook. Fenella is looking force murderer with the main person is Mike Knowles. There is a skeleton found in a pub, then a woman called Jane Ragsdale. Both are connected to Mike and then Mike is murdered as well. There are.2 main suspects for the murderers - Sloane Kern and her boyfriend Jack Parkes. Mike Knowles had been keen with Sloane's daughter. There is also a connection with Sloane and Jane who was selling oxy. A new character of Dective Sargent Ria Leigh. She is a piece of work and she looks like she will be in Book 5. Of the remaining suspects l for once pick the correct one. Very enjoyable book.

I’m still reading …
Good storylines and characters. I’ve read continuously from Book 1 in the last week, so that says something! My main criticism is « how the hell does she identify the perpetrator »? We need to know how Fenella gets to the conclusion - even if it’s retrospectively. Otherwise it’s as if she’s using a crystal ball. Part of the enjoyment of a whodunnit is trying to guess whodunnit, and you can’t if there aren’t any clues.
