Q: As a tall size 10-12 with muscular arms (I usually buy cardigans in a 12 just to fit my arms) what size would fit me best?

The fabric is very elastic so you can buy your normal size rang however if you get size bigger you might have some extra space around the arm.I would normally but size L which is 14-16uk this time I bought XL (16-18uk) and the arms feels a bit loose but still fitting very nice around arm.

Q: Is this the same a New look used to sell?

In essence yes. However, the New Look ones are much better quality, have better sizing( these are long & don’t close at the front) and look nicer. New Look don’t seem to stock these anymore.
