This stuff is brilliant! Recommend it 100%
This stuff is brilliant! I have been using it this winter 2015/2016 on my Honda CB1000R and my bicycles. Last week they salted the roads everywhere and today I have have just washed 7 weeks worth of white salt spray and other road muck off my motorbike and underneath it is like new!I apply it with a small paint brush dipped into a pot which I spray the ACF-50 straight into. After a few minutes I wipe up the excess with a small micro fiber cloth and use the cloth to spread the stuff all over the plastic fairings too.Not a sign of rust anywhere on the bike.Easy to apply.A very small amount covers my whole bike so 1 can will last me a few years.I use it on all the engine casing, all nuts and bolts, brake calipers, electrics, exhaust and plastics. It actually removed surface rust when I first used it.It is quite thick and clings onto the bike until you wash it off and doesn't fly off all aver my clothes.Easy to wash off and re apply. No strong smell.Don't get it on your brake discs or pads or on your seat.Leave the can indoors in the warmth before using it so that it sprays out nicely. When you first run the bike after applying it, some of it will burn off in a whitish cloud of steam for a couple of minutes so open up the garage doors or start it outside.

Most annoying thing about this product is the supplied plastic extension does not fit.
The product works ok, and does protect the surface. ITs a bit different form WD 40 as it doesn't dry out so much as WD. Would buy again, but would like a plastic extension that fitted.

Simply the best
I've used this stuff for several years on a range of motorbikes (and my bicycles) and I cannot fault it. I ride throughout winter unless there is snow/ice on the ground so my bikes have to be protected. If it helps anyone out there I use the following regime. Around September/October time I fully service the bike, give it a thorough cleaning and replace any routine service items. While I have the plastics off, I give everything a coat of ACF50 using a 2 or 3inch paint brush to work it in to the little spaces around the engine. One tip is to put the can into warm water for ten minutes as it becomes much thinner when warm and covers easy/better. I then coat the plastics, the switchgear and all other exposed parts including brake calipers using a cloth and brush. Once done I leave it to dry overnight - then I DO NOT WASH the bike again until spring. At that point experience has shown me that all the winter grime just brushes away with warm water revealing solid uncorroded parts. My R1200RT has gone through three winters so far and has virtually no corrosion at all.

Just the best
Been a long time user of this stuff. Its simply magic pink goo. I give my motorcycle a thorough clean in Autumn and apply ACF50 over all the exposed metal parts and fastening. It stays on all winter as I continue to use the bike every day. Then, once the frosts (and road salting) are past in Spring the bike gets a chemical clean and - hey - its back to bright shiny metal again. It really does protect exposed metal from dirt, salt and general nasty stuff. Apply sparingly. While it does come in an aerosol can its much easier to apply to a small 1" paintbrush and then brush on. Larger areas can be covered with a small cloth. Apply evenly and don't let it drip. Keep it off the brake pads and disks. You may need to apply/brush a little more on the most exposed parts (eg front forks) from time to time but that's about it.The only downside is not having to wash the bike in winter. Saves effort but the bike looks grim until springtime.Buy it if you want to keep the metal shiny. Don't buy it if you like rust and furred aluminium.

does what it say on the tin amazing stuff
well after buying my classic 12 year old suzuki motorbike chrome coverd cruiser and riding it for a couple of months in the uk winter 0ctober/nov 2011 i neglected to clean it. having been garaged by the previous owner it was in mint condition sadly i dont have a garage and after 2 months of it being left out in the rain at my work and undercover overnight the rust started covering nuts and bolts and even all over the clutch/brake pedals.so i decided to get some acf50gave the bike a quick wash and sprayed all on the parts it needed after the same amount of time it took for my bike to be coverd in rust the acf50 has kept any rust off and it hasnt returned so iknow this stuff worksi will be using this in the future amazing stuff my key barrel was stiff and a spray of acf50 loosened it and now i have no poroblem.i cant praise this stuff enough as mentioned in other reviews brings black metal and plastic up like new with just a spray.one thing i though funny on my chrome headight when i sprayed it on is ohh it makes it look like it's turned into cheap plastic but it is just that great coat of protection that i am so thankfull thats there until summer when i will wash my bike LOLi only used half the tin and coverd my bike for the price and what this stuff does is money well spent i only wished i had known about acf50 before

Can't stop using this product, if you get what I mean.
If you apply this liberally to your bike, you won't get rust problems. If you fail to cover your brake rotors and calipers with plastic bags before you apply this liberally to your bike, it'll be the last time you ever need to use this... or much of anything ever again, probably. This is a slick compound for anti-rust purposes and... and literally this is SLICK. Keep it off your brakes, but spray down the rest of your bike (except the seat, duh.) Rub it in with microfiber and you're gold.

Love this product for my Harley Sportster 883
Love this product for my Harley Sportster 883. Prevents rust during the rainy season. Spray the entire bike (being careful not to get it on brakes or tires because less friction in these areas = bad day), then wipe it down and start the bike up. It'll smoke for a little while as excess burns off. It does tend to attract dust and debris, but it still will protect against corrosion. Lasts for a while too! In the spring I just wash everything down with car wash soap or dish detergent and the bike looks brand new!

Fixed a sticky button in my game controller
I put barely a drop of this on my game controller buttons and it fixed a sticky button!I have found a lot of uses for this product. Lubricating doors in the house, battery terminal protection in the car, etc.
