Do not buy!!! I love the lip balm. I have every flavor! I was so thrilled there was a tinted version. I am sad to day the colors are awful. None of them are acceptable to wear. I had my niece try them because she had different skin tone and were horrible on her too. Do not buy!!!

Thick cakey texture that doesn’t go on smoothly. The tube doesn’t turn so you need to push it up for product, doesn’t work smoothly. So absolutely disappointed!

These colors are all some sort of muddy brown. They're unattractive for most skin tones. Maybe darker skin would benefit from these.

When I first saw the Poppy And Pout 100% Natural Lip Tints presentation, I will say it set a very high expectation. The collection of six 3.0oz tubes of natural lip tints are placed in a lovely gold embossed box with the company logo on the face and seals closed with two magnets. Once opened, the inner lid is embossed with the lines, "lips like velvet, kissed with color." The six tubes are securely placed as there are cut outs matching each color and showcases the product beautifully. Each shade has a unique name, Farrah, Faye, Daisy, Billie, Roxie, and Stevie. The shade colors based on the color of the cutout and the tube itself range from a light pink and builds darker with each following tint with it ultimately ending with a dark chocolate brown color. This was the first time I have seen lipstick shaped tubes made entirely of cardboard. Once I removed the sticker that seals the tube, I found that the only way to push the color up for me initially was to use a pen and press against the base. Once the lip tint is raised, it remains at that position unless I choose to push it down or raise it more. One negative for this packaging is that when pushing the product on several occasions, narrow ribbons or little pieces of lip tint would come out the sides. I was caught off guard by this. The product applied effortlessly to my lips and had a faint fragrance and tingle from peppermint oil which I loved. The biggest negative and disappointment I have is in regards to the colors once applied to my lips. I have a medium complexion and wear dark lip colors on a regular basis so I immediately tried the Roxie color which appears to be a rich, dark burgundy wine color. As soon as I applied it, there was an odd chalky white tinged hue that covered my lips and the specific color. I had no hint or clue that this would happen when looking at the lip tints in their tubes. It washed out the richness of the color, had a matte finish appearance, and made me look sickly. I tried the Stevie color thinking that this may have just been a fluke. Unfortunately I experienced the same odd chalky white tinge that made me look like I was under the weather. I tried all the remaining tubes and experienced the same disappointment. Sadly, these just were not complimentary lip tint colors on me. All of the lip tints have a best by date of almost three years from the date that I received it. There is a slight stickiness when wearing which I didn't mind. My lips felt moisturized after wearing the lip tint and I loved the tingly feeling from the peppermint oil. The product is made with coconut oil, beeswax, sunflower oil, peppermint oil, vanilla planifolia extract, ethical mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, and tocopherol (Vitamin E). It was easy to remove with a tissue or makeup wipe. The tints are Made in the USA. When it comes to price, prior to wearing I thought it was fair given the quality ingredients used to make the product. However, after trying to wear all the colors, I feel that it is not worth the investment. There are so many positives when it comes to the presentation of the product but sadly where it really counts, the colors just fall flat. I'm really bummed that this set was such a fail for me.

There is a decent variation of colors, but the two darker ones are very different from what you’d expect based on the package color. These lip glosses/tints are medium-sheer I’d say. They also don’t offer a very even coverage, but I wonder if that is something that will improve with use. The lip glosses have a minty fragrance, and I could feel a very strong mint tingling when I put it on my lips (I didn’t feel any tingling on the arm). Despite all the tingling, I did not notice any moisturizing effect from these. The pigment also barely lasted a couple of hours. I would give this set 2 stars for the quality, but giving an extra star for the environmental friendliness.
