Effective rinse-off mask for my dry skin; leaves it smooth & supple (mango/floral/herbal scent)
This is a wonderful moisturizing mask and it smell great, too. I have very dry, sensitive skin that is a pain to deal with all of the time, but it gets so much worse during the winter months. It seems to become dehydrated and rough very easily, too. Many of the skin care products seem to work well to keep my skin hydrated or help replenish the oils underlying the dryness, but very few do both. I find masks helpful, and I like to use one once a week or so -- when I saw this one, it seemed perfect for my skin. It looks like a thick cream in the picture, but the jar I received doesn't look quite the same. It is almost a dry cream, if that makes any sense. It feels dense, but it melts into my skin easily and while it is very rich, doesn't look or feel oily. I apply a thinner layer than the amount shown on the model, but still obtain the results I want. I also leave it on for a little longer than the suggested 5-10 minutes, just because I like the way it makes my skin feel during and after. It doesn't rinse away completely, leaving what feels like a light, protective veil on my face. And the fragrance is so nice -- not everyone will like it, but I do. I can parse out the luscious fruity scent from the mango butter, but some of the other ingredients must contribute as well because it also smells a bit floral and herbal, too. The fragrance seems to linger quite a while after I have rinsed the mask off. I use this mask at night and it leaves my face and neck feeling deeply hydrated, soft and supple the next day. The current price of $39.00 for 1.69 ounce, does seem a bit high at first, but I like how effective this is for me + I only use it two or three times per week and I don't need to use a lot, so the jar should last quite a while. I would definitely splurge on this again. I was a bit annoyed that the full list of ingredients was not shown. Here they are, from the brand's website:INGREDIENTS: WATER, GLYCERIN, CETYL ALCOHOL, ZINC OXIDE(CI 77947), GLYCERYL STEARATE, TITANIUM DIOXIDE(CI 77891), CARTHAMUS TINCTORIUS (SAFFLOWER) SEED OIL, SQUALANE, SESAMUM INDICUM (SESAME) SEED OIL, CYAMOPSIS TETRAGONOLOBA (GUAR) GUM, HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES OIL, DAUCUS CAROTA (CARROT) OIL, CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER OIL, PHENOXYETHANOL, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, MANGIFERA INDICA (MANGO) SEED BUTTER, CITRIC ACID, TOCOPHEROL, RETINYL PALMITATE, SODIUM HYALURONATE, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE, SOLUBLE COLLAGEN, PALMITOYL OLIGOPEPTIDE, PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE-7, CUCUMIS SATIVUS EXTRACT, PANAX GINSENG ROOT EXTRACT, SODIUM BENZOATE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, GINKGO BILOBA EXTRACT

Thick, Creamy, Almond Scented Mask
I did not care for this mask, but there was nothing objectively wrong with it, I simply think it was not the right choice for my skin, as I didn't see results. For reference I am 40+ with combination normal to dry skin that can be prone to congestion. This mask did not flare up any congestion issues for me, nor did it cause any irritation or redness. I did not find that this mask offered any real hydration to my skin, beyond the period I was actually wearing it.The mask is thick like a body butter, but it doesn't melt into your skin, it stays put like you expect a mask to. It curiously does not smell like mango, which I has anticipated based on the packaging, but like sweet almond oil. I do love almond scented products and this has a very strong, but not off-putting, almond scent. I wore this for about 20 minutes a few different times, and it washed off cleanly with my makeup eraser (which is what I always use on my face). I simply didn't see that my skin appeared to be more radiant, plump, and/or hydrated than it had been before the mask was applied.

Take a trip to the Caribbean and a trip back in time!
This rich buttery smooth mask really does work to bring out softer, younger, looking more even toned skin. It definitely does smell like mango, but mango butter, which comes from the seed and has a much fainter smell than the ripe orange flesh of the fruit so don't expect it to smell like you're eating a mango. It smells more like cocoa butter with a mango spritz. It looks and feels like whipped butter as well, goes on thick and appears to sit on your skin as it dries but it definitely absorbs. It wasn't apparent upon first use, but with regular use you definitely notice subtle changes in your skin. You looks more youthful, and the best term I could use to describe it is that my skin looked more uniform, even, with less contrast, no dark spots, wrinkles lessen, skin looks softer and more hydrated. In just a few minutes you look like you went a full two weeks drinking lots of water and getting 8 hours sleep every night. Not sure how long the results last but this mask is an excellent boost when you need to step out of the house looking refreshed.

Weird scent
I've used this rinse-off mask a couple of times, now, and I do like what it does for my skin. It's hydrating, and my skin looks fresh and bright after I rinse it off. I do have a hard time with the smell, though. I generally like fruity smells, but this one seems to smell kind of like an air freshener. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I Really don't enjoy this while I'm using the mask. I have a strong smell faculty, and it can bother me intensely when I don't like a smell. And since the mask is on my face, there's no way to avoid it. This heavily took away from the enjoyment of the mask experience, for me, unfortunately. The mask itself has a cool whipped butter type of consistency and spreads very easily on the face. If not for the smell, I would really like this mask a lot.

Hydrating Cream Mask
DS Dermasense was founded by a chemist and dermatologist, along with two plastic surgeons, who said they saw the need for a science-based skincare company run by doctors. The company marketing slogan is "go deeper" both in terms of their active ingredients and the research they put into their formulas. This is a creamy, lotion-like mask, meant to be rinsed off after 5-10 minutes. It has a strong, fruity sweet scent that I didn't mind, but your mileage may vary, as it is quite noticeable. It has Vitamin A, C & E for brightening and hydrating, along with marine collagen and peptides, both of which help diminish signs of aging. Skin felt dewy and slightly plumped after use. Didn't really want to use a moisturizer or serum on top directly after and this felt like a nighttime mask to me, as it's not something you could do and then apply makeup or anything else immediately afterward without washing you face off, which defeats some of the purpose. Not sure if had a huge long term effect, but skin felt nice and it's not terribly expensive.
