Great value and really nice quality. I've had a blanket on top of our ordinary duvet for some time, and it made it a bit heavy, and still not warm enough on cold nights. I have been promising myself a new duvet for a couple of years, not wanting to waste the old one - and finally took the plunge with this one. I decided to keep the old one for the Summer, and this new one for winter.The new duvet arrived faster than they said - which was great, because it arrived at the same time as a cold snap. I was amazed, it weighs only 1.7kg for a super-king-size, so is really light on the bed. Fit inside the duvet cover was also great, (but as with all super kings, hard initially to know which way around to put it in - as it is nearly but not quite square - why don't they make them that extra 10cm wider so that they can be square??? This would also be better for mattresses, because you could turn them by 90 degrees as well as flipping them around... Maybe that is why...TIP FOR MANUFACTURER - would be really nice to write "Top/Bottom" on one edge, and then "Side" on the others - making it easier to fit. I'm going to do that with a Sharpy next time I wash the cover... Slightly odd - the design of the duvet is such that to fit in the cover, you like the panels up across the bed, rather than up/down as I would have guessed... But next time it is off, I'll write top/bottom on it for ease.Anyway - the duvet has been on for a week now, and I'm really really pleased with it. I read reviews of a few duvets before choosing this one. I liked the fact that this one is made in and delivered from the UK. Quality appears great, and I really like its fluffiness. I loved the fact it was packaged in a utilitarian cover, and no pointless jazzy box, etc. stitching seems good quality, and at this price it is hard to see how they can make it so well. Amazing that it is so warm; my first thought when I got it was that it would no way be warm enough when it was that light - but not only is it toasty warm, but it warms up when you climb in to bed really quickly, (probably due to its light weight). Oddly, (and happily), I don't seem to overheat in the duvet... somehow it gets to a nice cosy temperature, and then that's it. No idea why or how, and very happy that it does.Anyway, I really like it - and hopefully if you get one of these, you will like it too !

Fantastic buy

This fluffed up nicely and is about 8" thick its also got a bit of weight to it, not uncomfortably, just could tell the difference.But it really is warm, I suffer from Reynards and often wake up feeling cold at night, but not since I had this duvet, really excellent.

ordered this for my mum just before the very cold snap. surprised you could get 16.5 tog. she was astounded, said it was like sleeping under a very warm cloud, didn't need extra blankets on top. it is not heavy, which is great as she is in her eights. highly recommended. thanks

I so suffer with the cold and realised my Duvet that I bought last year was not up to scratch anymore andit didn't feel like a 13.5 Tog at all. So looked for another and went through so many on Amazon reviewing all of them and found this one with really great reviews. So I decided to take a chance as the price was really great as well.Well so far I no longer need a hot water bottle for my feet and I have slept through really well. Its not too hot and feels as soft as a cloud on you so there is no sense of feeling smothered by the weight. I have just ordered one for my son. so very happy.

My husband said this duvet is the best thing he has ever bought 😂 we have a king size. Today we had -10, this duvet is the best, I would say it’s medium weight, I don’t like a heavy quilt, it is perfect for me, it is so comfortable, so soft, I sleep so well under it. This week it has been so hard getting up in the morning. I’ve recommended this to all my friends and family.

My old duvet finally lost its value and needed to be replaced

The duvet is warm however it’s so light it’s difficult to keep the duvet around your body and my husband and I find it slips to one side of the bed or the other, therefore one of us ends up with no duvet!
