No more skinny clown rubbish
I am sick and tired of thin burgers from well known clown chains and while I am happy to part with my money at the more up market places I being a result can't afford that all the time. I am more than happy to make my own burgers but the shape is more flying saucer than burger. So I spotted this little gadget and thought at this price I can't go wrong really. Now I confess I LOVE IT, so far I have made a blue cheese stuffing and a peanut butter and bacon stuffing. Both even if I say so myself were a hit, lovely sized burgers nice and round. Looked professional and so much better than those skinny things. The gadget itself is easy to use, read the instructions and away you go. I didn't use the wax disks you can buy, all I did was use a little spray oil to ease the Pattie out. Now it's nit something you will use everyday, but it is something that will be used a lot by myself and my son. Oh and before you say urgh! To peanut butter and bacon on a burger try it, honestly it's one of the best flavour combos you will come across.

Incompetent seller!!
Right... I have now ordered this burger press and waited and waited... When I finally got a package (just in time for a nice BBQ planned on the beach with friends) I got really excited. I opened the package and what was in it? A 5-1beauty care massager... Well there are no women in my household that would use it so I messaged the seller... Got it to redeliver the burger press and again I waited and waited... Now I finally got the package today and now I was not excited any more because the package seemed to small for a burger press. I open the package and guess what was in it... There was a baby toy in it... I am fed up with this sh** I want my money back NOW!!! firstly I thought OK we are all humans, now I'm thinking that you are just incompetent!

Brilliant!
Love this a have used it many times. They burgers usually take alot longer to cook as they are so big when I make them. But they are brilliant for letting your imagination run wild with what filling you want to use.Cheese and bacon is a firm favourite. I cook the bacon before I put it in the burger otherwise it just hasn't cooked. Not tricky to clean either which I thought it might be.And you can use abit of force when pressing down the bottom half of the burger so you can add your filling and it hasn't broken on me. I fear it might as it is only plastic.Fab little gadget

I have made burgers with this for a few times ...
I have made burgers with this for a few times now and once you use the press you have to push the sides down in order for it all to be a flat burger as it only seems to press the inside down leaving about a cm around the edge. Either that or I am using it wrong.

Makes a good burger but product not made from the best materials ...
Makes a good burger but product not made from the best materials and became difficult to use after I made the first pattie. If it wasn't for the build quality I would give it 5 stars because it really does work

No use for my veggie burger mix.
I bought this to make veggie burgers. It would have been useful if I had the papers to go with it.Seems the papers stop the burgers sticking, maybe they do, I shall never know...I had an idea the papers would help, but I decided £2.99 was enough to try something. The company could add a few papers and then the buyer could decide whether or not they are necessary, I can't tell whether they would have helped my veggie burgers not stick to the red plastic contraption, which is very sweet looking I must say, and I shan't be buying the papers. Pity really, but it's good for the charity shop.I would recommend buying both and whether or not it is good for veggie burgers I shall never know. That's what I need, a veggie burger former.

Easy to use
It makes making burgers easy and fuss free, and its great you can even add that hidden surprise in the burger with pushing the middle down.

not so easy to use...
I was sad to find that this device did not perform up to the advertised standards. After receiving it and reading instructions (they fail to tell you how much meat to use saying "you will figure it out", what's the big secret?"). I am no stranger to the kitchen and after my first burgers came apart on the grill, I followed the instructions exactly, I checked on You Tube for some ideas and learned that there are similar devices with much better designs, The Stufz should tell you how much meat to use for the bottom and top, it REALLY makes a difference that you use the right amount and why should we have to go thru a trial and error period? I also feel the Stufz was not designed well enough to make a good top patty, on my second attempt I improvised and mashed the top patty into shape against some wax paper to be sure it was the proper diameter to cover the bottom patty and seal it. This was just too much work and not as simple as the commercial made it out to be, so I will try something else because a stuffed burger is worth fighting for!

Good gadget
Have to say I only tried this once using ground turkey and it was a disaster.... meat stuck to it and I ended up making the filled turkey burger without the tool. My sister though used regular chopped meat and loved it. I don't discredit the gadget .....I just think you should only use it for beef and not turkey.
