Now that I've had this charger for a few months, I can give a better account of how well it performs. The charger lead like some other have mentioned is a bit of a tight squeeze to insert into charger but i managed ok. It does indeed charge batteries fast like others have mentioned but this in turn is its downfall. The batteries charged by this charger dont last anywhere near long enough when used in chosen product. I've proven this to myself by using a charger which came with the chargeable batteries. It does take longer but the batteries last easily twice as long.

Have now 3 months. Charge 18650 batteries daily for an e cig mod. Had 2 Nitecore chargers before this where both eventually packed up around 6 months. Seems better quality then Nitecore. Specifically the connection port for the power cable which was at fault both times on the Nitecore models.No problems so far. Happy with purchase.Update. 1 year on and its still working. Have had no problems with it. Still charges perfectly. After past problems with other chargers this is easily the best i have bought so far. Highly recommended.

Great charger. You can see the voltage the current and duration. My only gripe is that the display is quite bright especially if you’re charging your batteries throughout the night. I probably wouldn’t have bought it if it wasn’t on a lightning deal but glad I did because now I know if I need to charge my batteries quickly I have the option to do it.

I find the power lead that comes with the charger is very very poorly made (uk power plug) not the plug it’s self but the female 2 pin slot that connects to the charger is way to small for the charger! It dose fit but with a really hard push it will go in! I’m sorry about this review but just letting people know before they buy and might not like that it’s as if the power lead is to small for the charger it’s self.

Used a few times and all good so far. Tried on .5 amp and 1 amp settings, though not fully loaded and not fully discharged cells. Seems great and 'intelligent' as described, but I haven't asked too much of it, nor will I given some reviews where the reviewers have put it through its paces (I've no need to).For me it's a great combo for charging nimh aa/aaa/l-ion batteries with ability to handle different l-ion configurations. Just a pity it can't handle c/d type nimh cells.

i brought this charger to use with 18650 batteries. the charger works well and the display clearly shows how well the batteries are charging. i like the fact that the battery type is automatically selected. this takes the guess work out if you are not sure what type you are charging. also saves time messing about with settings.

initial impressions are positive with some reservations. Batteries do not locate positively and are hence a little fiddly to put in place. The display is quite helpful. My major gripe is that it claims to support 'C' cells but you can only use 2 of the 4 slots at a time owing to the slots being too close together. However, the charger works well and is quicker than my previous unit.

Mine actually caught on fire when I took a battery out of it. Real flames! Very scary, threw it out the window, DEFINITELY would not recommend!!!
