I now have some seriously sharp kitchen knives! A tad fiddly to work out how to use, my son cracked it easily and whilst watching TV sharpened several knives quite quickly. I am delighted. Good value for money. Oh, and he also sharpened a paper of scissors that had nicks in the blade (they were ruined cutting florist wire) - no more nicks and back in my sewing box!

There were no instructions in any language included with the sharpener. However, the description of the item on Amazon gives details/picture of how to assemble and use. PRINT A COPY as soon as you get it, for the day when it is no longer offered for sale. It would have been nice if the seller had printed a copy and enclosed them with the item. Once you get used to it, it gives a consistent angle and a good sharp edge to the blade you are sharpening. Would have given it 5* if instructions and some tips on use were included.

But cumberson and needs to be secured onto something for it to work properly.

Total rubbish a waste of Money.

Takes abit of skill to use but once mastered results are fantastic!

The sharpener came with minimal instructions in French and German! Having assembled it I had extra pieces that didn't seem to go anywhere. The knife clamp didn't hold the knife securely or in a fixed place. It took me half an hour to sharpen a knife, and it was then only moderately sharp. I have sharpened knives with a stone more quickly and achieved a sharper edge.

Useless.No English instructions.Dose not hold the knifes well.Bad quality falls apart.Don't bother save your money, spend abit more and get a better one
