I ordered a medium for my Vizsla and it was a bit large. But soak it in water and works like a charm. Helps keep them cool during hot desert temperatures here in Temecula.

My dogs love these. I have 2 for my boxer and valley bulldog. They stay cold and wet for a while so it really helps them cool off. Got my first one a year ago and after many washes still looks good!

Got to keep my small dogs cooler in power outages during hurricane season without weighing them down.

Using this on bully pup who has a black coat. Hot and dry weather already. I simply run it under a cool tap before walking, and this item stays cool and wet the entire walk!! (Another brand I tried dried out immediately.)Highly recommend. Can put it around doggo's neck or head.

Works great for hiking with my husky

I have tried this a few times on my guide dog who is a black lab with longer hair since he is an English lab. I didn’t really see a difference with how the heat affects him when we do have to go out. Given I live in an area that can get hot and humid I was sure hoping it would have helped.

I have a black staffy that doesn’t do well in the heat but insists on sunbathing until she is huffing and puffing and being called in. This gives some relief. It is quality made just like our other Ruffwear items.

It’s an odd design because it does not have an adjustable neck. So you wet it and then you have to stretch it over your dogs head wet. Not easy to do. Would’ve been much better had it been a Velcro closure.

This swamp gaiter works so much better than those cooling bandanas. It stays on your pet’s neck well and stays cooler longer. The XXS fits my 12-pound Jack Russell well. The material itself already feels pretty cool and once you wet it, it keeps the dog even cooler. This helped keep my dog cool in 35-degree C weather and was great when walking the dog. I was so impressed by it that I bought a second one in another colour!

We love all ruffwear products and have tried many styles of cooling gear (bandanas, vests, etc.) and the gaiter is our favorite! Our pup tends to like to bite the tails of a bandana while he is wearing them, but the slip-over style of this one prevents that! I do find that this particular product gets quite a bit colder than others that I have. Overall, highly recommend!

My dog has burns and hair loss from the neck band. I was very happy with it at first but the dog started scratching the neck because of itches and burns. I would not recommend buying this.
