This leave-in works well, is easy to use, smells good and is not cloying. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because this product is a bit pricey.

I have dry thick curly afro hair. I used this products predecessor, had great results for a while until it gave me straw brittle hair. Unfortunately after I binned it a professional hair stylist advised me on the best way to use it. I’ve found when used correctly it helps reduce frizz, keeps hair straighter for longer with minimal heat damage, my curls revert with no straight bits. Process listed below.As my hair is protein sensitive hair hydration is key especially during winter. I can only use this product twice a month without it overloading my hair. I also can’t use any other protein products with this like rice water or coconut, a lot of brands are adding this so double check first;Step 1: After deep conditioning and steaming, I do my final rinse using warm water, cold water causes tangles.Step 2: I section and finger detangle hair into 4 space buns, lightly squeezing out excess with an old cotton t shirt. Hair should still be a little more wet than damp, but not dripping.Step 3: I apply hyaluronic acid, and a small amount of a hydrating leave in conditioner like Mielle and a pea size amount of kerastasè to each section, in that precise order, using a wide detangling brush or comb through each layer of product before returning hair to bunsStep 4: Blow drying processBraids and protective styles: I blow dry using a pik attachment on low heat, I’m only reducing volume and thickness, and not trying to get it bone straight.Silk press or straightening: If I’m straightening hair I use a vented paddle brush, as it gets my hair straighter, work in 8 sections instead of 4. Use less Mielle leave in applying only to ends then follow with kerastase. Blow dry, then work in small sections using a titanium flat iron, combing through with a fine tooth comb. To minimise damage I use the one pass method.Curls: For curls I add a curl smoothing definition cream before the thermique and use a deman brush to separate curls. I then add a diffuser attachment to blow dryer and work on head as a whole, I get the diffuser as close to my hair without touching it.I can only use this product max twice a month, if your hair is finer or oilier it should be okay. If your hair is bleached blonde, fragile and brittle, consult a salon that stocks kerastase or do your research first.

You just need to apply a small amount of the product to towel-dried hair, run it through your hair, and let it sit for a few minutes. It does not leave a greasy feeling and does not weigh down my hair.In addition to the nourishing benefits, this product also helps to protect my hair from the heat of styling tools. It contains creatine R and taurine, which helps to strengthen my hair and make it look longer. It also contains Thermique Extentioniste, which helps to protect my hair from heat damage.Overall, I am very impressed with Kérastase Resistance Nourishing Leave-in Conditioning Gel Cream Treatment. After using it for a few weeks, my hair feels softer and looks healthier. I know this brand has quite a good reputation, so I was excited to try this product. I went into this experience having never used a Kerastase hair product before, so I didn't know what to expect. This leave in treatment is designed for damaged hair and is meant to both speed up the drying process and smooth the hair follicles as well as protect from heat.Both myself and my mum gave it a try after washing our hair on different days. Mum reported lack lustre results to me, which I was surprised by. She said her hair felt and looked absolutely no different whatsoever, but that she liked the smell of the product. She also said she felt her hair hadn't dried any faster than usual.Next, it was my turn. I was similarly disappointed. I really don't know what I was expecting from this leave in cream, but it wasn't dry hair. I'm a blonde, so my hair tends to be a bit on the dry side anyway, but NEVER as dry as this stuff made it! I couldn't believe it. It was like running my hands through straw - and no, I didn't use too much! I'm always very cautious not to use too much of a product as I know how detrimental this can be.Whatever is supposed to be 'nourishing' about this cream, I'll never know. Fortunately, I was able to counteract some of the dryness with an Olaplex oil treatment, so I didn't have to wash my hair again, but I really don't think I'll be using this Kerastase treatment again as it very obviously does not suit my hair whatsoever. Given my mum's neutral experience, I'm clearly not the only one either.I'm also compelled to mention the smell of the cream. My mum liked it very much, but I did not. Without being disrespectful, it has a very strong odour that reminds me of an old lady type of scent. It's not great at all and I didn't enjoy applying it. It also lingered after my hair was dry, so I kept getting unpleasant whiffs of this awful smell whenever I turned my head.The only positive result I can report is that my hair did dry a little bit faster on the ends I'd applied the cream to. Overall, not a great experience. It's really turned me away from this brand in general. I'm glad I didn't pay the current for sale price of £29.05 for the experience, let's put it that way.

J’ai une chevelure moyenne à beaucoup et très fin indiscipliné 30 pour cent de cheveux blancs colorés. Dans le sud au soleil encore pire donc j’ai acheté la ligne kérastase champooing de la même ligne et conditionneur plus Extentioniste thermique le résultat était fabuleux 2 jours de temps à 32 degrés à l’extérieur avec humidité mes cheveux sont restés doux non statiques et volumineux. Pour ma part c’est incroyable juste avec le séchoir et brosse ronde je recommande cette ligne a tout les filles qui ce trouve avec le même problème que moi ( indiscipliné comme cheveux)
