I try to not use plastic products especially during cooking. The steel quality is very good, I have used this and washed in dishwasher and did not rust. What the best about this product is the height of the product which allows this to be used for cake decorations too. I am a home baker who is still learning to decorate cakes. I always had issues with cake layering since cakes wont looked aligned. This is game changer, I cut both the layers with this and added frosting, it comes so well and clean, just like a bakery cake. I tried ice cream cake too, again the edges of cake are well formed and clean. The cake is well aligned. I say its not just used for mouse cake but you can use these for normal frosting cake leveling. Definitely takes the cake to next level

I bought 3 of these by now but planning to buy more. I was doing some R&D for my “Pain Surprise” a French bread. And it was just great I can adjust the width as I want. I recommend it to you. Great quality. Fair price

Slightly unsteady as you increase or decrease its size. Once you have the size you need it's very sturdy in place.

The media could not be loaded. I highly recommend this. I have been baking for 16 years and getting really tired of scraping and scraping and scraping until the sides are smooth. Someone told me about this. I bought it and used it and I won't never go back to the old way! This one is extra tall. I recommend it!

Works very nicely.

Easy to use and adjust to perfect diameter/circumference. Once adjusted, stays put! The extra depth is appreciated! Use this as a collar to give extra strength to cakes layered within acetate while firming up.

Description states 5.9” height. The box appears correct but the cake ring inside the box is only 3.25” tall. Item appears to be a Kohls return.

Je cherchais un moule très haut pour mes layer cakes et celui ci est très bien. Comme tous les moules coulissants, il n'est pas toujours évident de bien le nettoyer après mais pour le reste, je suis satisfaite.
