Lion Brand YarnCompany 1-Piece Vanna's Choice Yarn, Chocolate

Good quality wool, possibly a little expensive but has worked a treat for the blanket that I’m crocheting!

I'm a sucker for any Vanna's Choice yarn, but the color of this chocolate variety is stunning. It reminds me of an actual milk chocolate bar I've seen at Easter time! It has a rich depth of color that makes me smile and relax when I use it in my projects. It has the usual soft, smooth feel of Vanna's Choice acrylics, which are not quite as soft as Red Heart's Softie but are still more luxurious than most other acrylics. It flows smoothly and does not split easily.

I love this yarn and have been using it for several years now. It does have issues that other people have noted, such as several knotted joinings within the skein. I don't care about that really because of how I usually do projects (I usually have so many mixed colors in a project that adding one more joining doesn't matter). I could not find any at Michaels, where I bought the original, so I ordered off of Amazon. They arrived individually packed, which was a nice touch, but immediately upon opening the box, I was assaulted by the smell of rosewater. I don't know at what stage it happened in--at the factory, at the storage facility, in shipping, or what--but all three skeins smell so strongly of rosewater that I cannot be in the same room with them.I have set them outside to see if they will air out a bit, but this is a major problem given that I don't like strong rose scents and feel sick from them.

I hadn't tried this brand before and I love it. Soft and easy to work with. Washable!

I was knitting some baby shoes for my grandson. It is very soft and Comfortable.

I like Lion Brand, so I got exactly what I expected. Although the color is slightly darker than it looks in the picture but if you look at the picture the white background and the light that is on it makes it appear lighter. Not that big of a deal though.
