HoneywellHHM10B Humidity Monitor

Bought this to accompany our humidifier and have a better idea of the humidity levels in our bedroom to improve sleep. It works great. We had another brand that we used in a different part of our house, so I set them both up together to test if there was any difference. They both reported the exact same temp and humidity, so it made me feel confident that it is accurate. I like that the numbers are large and easy to read--and that the temp is a different size so you can easily glance at it and not confuse the two numbers. There is no backlight, so there's nothing to glow and keep you awake in a dark room--another plus!

If we don't run our dehumidifier a day in the basement the gauge rises so we know its working well, just as advertised

I've got three of these, two white and one black. these are great little temperature and humidity indicators. they use little battery, lasts a long time and so easy to read.

This is doing a great job for me. It's accurate (I gauged it against another digital stand-alone unit, the digital readout on my Honeywell humidifier, and an old analog dial gauge), and it doesn't take up a lot of space. I've been using it non-stop for months now, and the battery is still going strong. The only thing I would improve on this item is the visibility. If it's under incandescent light, or 'side-lit' with my home's lighting, I can't see the LCD readout. So, that's limiting its placement for me. However, in bright light, it's easy to read (as in the attached photo). So, the addition of a 'tap top to see readout' like my other backlit unit would be greatly appreciated. Overall, it's not too large, not too small, wipes down easily, is stable on its base, and has good battery life. I'm happy with this item

We purchased it to check the humidity level in our basement. That is what made us purchase the Honeywell dehumidifier.

I never realized how dry air could get in the winter when it's cold and wet outside but I crank up the heat and the air can get really dry on the inside, and that can cause health problems. So, this is an inexpensive and convenient way to monitor my humidity and to know when to turn on my humidifier.

I didn't know our apartment was so dry. I run a humidifier most of the time because humidity is easier on my nose. So this year I got a really bloody nose. It kept coming back and I used Nasogel, which was super soothing. But I hadn't been running the humidifier.So I ended up getting this meter. I didn't know the slightest about how much humidity we had or what the numbers should be. This monitor shows you - it's very easy to understand. It turns out our apartment was extremely dry, and even with the humidifier on in the summer, I'm lucky if humidity reaches mid-range of comfortable. We love on Southern California where there is no rain until the end of the year.Last week it rained, and the monitor showed it a very comfortable 56 on my monitor (high end of the comfortable range).For me, this little monitor is looked at as much as the thermostat!

Relatively quiet.🤫 it’s quiet for a humidifier but not silent. It does not bother me and I am sensitive to noise while I’m trying to sleep. It really has been helping my husband and since we have been using it he hasn’t been waking up with a stuffy nose

I initially purchased this product however there was a calibration issue with the humidity monitor readings. I brought this to the suppliers attention and they immediately sent me another one. It has been working fine. Good service and I am pleased with the product. Thanks

Works really well, as expected. More sensitive than you would expect for such a small unit. This is the second one I have purchased and the first still going strong after 5 years!
