DTX Fitness Multi Grip Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar

I like the sturdiness of it, it’s well made.The knurling is good, the bolts provided and instructions are also good.Unlike some others I used the provided plugs and bolts with no worries, just use a 10mm bit and wiggle it rather than a 12mm!Different bolts would be required if plasterboard wall.

I bought this pull up bar after reading in other reviews that it had been mounted outside with no issues. I installed the bar and three days later it's rusting around the welds and on the textured grip. I've queried this with the seller and unfortunately it's not suitable for outdoor use, but this isn't mentioned in the product description.I also found one of the wall mounts isn't straight which means instead of having a straight line of bolts it's more at an angle. I'd recommend mounting one side and using one middle bolt in place, swing the bar up and mark the bolt holes on the opposite mount. This will avoid unnecessary drilling and holes.Overall happy but the description should include it's not for outdoor use and also quality control could do with further checking to make sure the equipment has been machined correctly.

Great construction and grip options, unfortunately whilst tightening the bolts two of them completely snapped.

This is a fantastic piece of kit. It's a bit overkill for domestic use but should last for a long time if taken care of. The grip options are very nice, and the knurling is excellent. At first I thought it might be painted, but the grip bar feels more like it has been powder coated and has a very textured finish.Installation is not easy, especially if you are fixing it to exterior masonry as I did. Other reviewers said that the supplied wall fixings are not great, and when I saw a bag containing plastic wall plugs I laughed hard. I went out and got myself M10 shield anchors (wall bolts) which required a 16mm masonry drill. It was a lot of work to measure out and carefully drill the holes, definitely not for somebody who is not a competent DIYer, but with only four bolts (two on each side) the bar is securely fitted to the exterior wall of the house and easily supports my 100kg weight.I've given this product four stars because the supplied fixings are IMO not safe and I would recommend metal wall bolts.

pull up bar is good, side arms could be more robust (metal bend a little when you try tie screws). delivery is a totally different story, 9.99 for delivery by worst company ever (DHL) feels like rip off. so overall product is fine but you delivery company should be changed

Very sturdy. Perfect for a home workout. But the bolts sent are a joke. They will not hold a child hanging on it. But if you get some heavy duty bolts will are in business. Great pull up bar.

The raw plugs/bolts that are supplied for securing the bar to the wall are completely useless. It's been an absolute nightmare trying to find alternative fixing solutions
