Awesome lens
I love this lens so much I am replacing my prime 35mm. It is light, small, fast, and incredible image quality on A7RV

Crystal clear and versatile
This instantly became my favorite lens! I have both a full frame mirrorless and an APS-C mirrorless and it's worked incredibly well with both. The clarity is amazing and the lens build is really solid. The lens is really handy for travel. I took it on a recent trip where we'd be both outdoors and indoors between all the parks and museums we toured. The lens did really well all-around. For indoor shots F 2.8 is a real win as it lets a lot of light in and gives me more creative options. Because the lens is so bright it gives you creative options between the priority shooting mode that will get me the look that I want. A couple of times I had left the camera set to aperture priority and ended up with a shot that had more bokeh than I wanted but as long as I was mindful about the camera settings I found I really enjoyed the creative flexibility of the lens. It's portable enough to carry attached to the camera. I detached it for travel on the plane.I took portraits indoors and was very happy with the clarity and optics. Faces were clear, in focus, and bright.

Perfect for what I wanted.
I purchased this to live on my family camera. It’s tack sharp and renders colors beautifully. It is not parfocal so you will need to refocus when zooming in or out. This is not a big deal for me but something to be aware of if you plan on using this for video work.I am also a wedding photographer however I purchased this to use for only personal and family shooting. Although the image quality is good enough to turn in to clients. It is very compact and can be easily used on a gimbal since the lens does not zoom out that much.I am very satisfied with this purchase.

It is not as rewarding
Initial thought it is the ultimate lens for travels, but some short coming really affect how i feel about it.It is not a sharp lens, and come at a price that is considering too high for the quality. I would wish to consider something wider for the range and then maybe prime 35 or 45 or 50mm, that will do well for my travel.

boken is not so pleasing
The weight and autofocus are pretty good. However, the plastic material of the lens makes it look cheap and the boken is not pleasing. So I return it and will look for more Sigma lens.
