stunning!
I love this book even more that the previous! Amazing as always. The characters are phenomenal and I love how they’re all so different from one another

It's cool, just kill them all.
Soft ending, no "tear my hair out, heart stomped on" cliffhanger energy.Swallowing her fear of being rejected, Cinna reveals to her mates that she has demon blood. Kade, (sigh), runs away all of 2 seconds later. This turns out to be an important decision, as wrong as it seems, and sets in motion a disturbing series of events. (Not to me because seriously, bloodthirsty Cinna is my favorite so far).Unaware that Kade has been kidnapped and has not just flat out abandoned their bond, the remaining mates, Cinna and all wolf clans except fire move forward to complete numerous successful raids against the beastkin traffickers. We find out that some of the people in charge are beastkin (they earned what they got).Immediately following the raids, Cinna and her mates travel to the fire kingdom to confront Kade. During their visit, they find out that Zandrir (disgusting excuse of a father to Kade) has been selling his own wolves to Vetrize, an elf.Vetrize is revealed to be a previous tormentor to Cinna and then kidnaps her and Nor. During their captivity, they meet some new people who provide help in their escape. Bloodthirsty Cinna shows up and rocks my world by killing everyone. I am positively gleeful about this because...fkthem.During a quick trip to the capital to meet with the Beast King and follow a lead on Cassian, we learn the identity of the Golden Lion and lemme just say....I hope book 3 is a bloodbath (because again, fkthem).Based on the name of the series, I'm wondering if we will see Cinna go all Alpha of Alphas on ALL of the beastkin and not only on wolves. I'm also wondering if we'll get to see the demon that saved her in book 1 again.Anyyyywaay, enough of my ramblings. I'm happy enough to ride along for the conclusion, maybe full of sugar and sprinkles. I'm a sucker for sickly sweet, big happy family ending vibes.Last minute thoughts:📌It's a SLOW, SLOW, SLOW burn because of past trauma for FMC.📌No MM but it seems like maybe there could be a little something something between two of the MMCs in a future book.📌Multi-POV📌I need more Doran because uhhh, cute-cutes!

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

Fantastic!
Both books kept me reading. The story is fascinating. The characters are intriguing. They keep you on your toes. More than once I thought "where is her blood frenzy "? Well we find out. I was so pleased! Wow! She is scary when she flipps! The cliffhanger was irritating. I may have yelled? If it were a book in paper I might have thrown the dang thing! However, my tablet remains in one piece.I recommend both books. LOVE!

Another Fantastic Story
This picks up right where book one left off. It’s nonstop action and intrigue from that point on! Cinna and her mates grow closer as they work together to bring down the slave trade, and there are some very sweet moments sprinkled throughout the action. The world-building continues to be impressive as it expands, and book three is going to be AMAZING.
