Playshoes Shade Sails

This works great, is easy to attach and has blocked all the sun from my baby. Its good it doesn't cover her completely as air can get through the sides so she doesn't overheat. Can be moved around easily depending on where the sun is and takes up very little space when not being used. Good quality fabric used.

This is so much better than a parasol wobbling around and needing adjustment every time you change direction. It provides excellent coverage and can easily be moved from side to side to cast the perfect shadow as the top is on a loop of elastic. This bit hooks over the hood end of you buggy/pram and there are two ties at the other end to attach to the handles - its so simple that I don't really understand those reviews that said instructions were needed! Essentially it's just a piece of material and you could get the same effect with a scarf, but it's need and tidy, as well as the material offering UV protection. It leaves gaps at the side so you can see your little one and there's no danger of overheating.

Easy to use but baby wasn't happy he couldn't see me. Light also streams in at the sides and no flexibility to adjust position to shield from the sun.

Have used a few times on my pushchair and also when I put the car seat on the pushchair wheels (which was the main reason I bought it), but it has worked equally well both times. It was abit harder with the car seat as it has only a tiny hood so when you move position there is less good to provide shade any way but it helped and stopped the full on glare of the sun. I was worried about not being able to see baby but as it gets narrower at your end you can peek round. I even used this the other day when out and it started raining as we didn’t have the rain cover and kept the foot end of the buggy a bit drier! It folds up really small so is great for the baby bag.

The idea is great and it’s easy to use. However, it’s completly useless. For some unknown reason, the width of the cover gets smaller towards the end (the bit that ties to the handle bar). The entire cover is far too small to protect the baby from any sunlight at all. It should be wider in order to be considered useful. I have a Babyzen YoYo and despite my buggy being one of the smallest, I do not find this product to good or helpful. It does not provide any shade.

Would without doubt recommend this item. I regularly visit the zoo with my 5 month old and originally had a "baby buddy" shade which is round and clips on to the pram. However it was little use when windy and you keep having to change the position of it once you turned a corner!This product covers the 'ceiling' of the buggy between hood and handle, easy to attach and still has large gaps either side where a breeze can circulate and where baby can see out and you can see in. When the sun is lower you just slide the canopy to the left or right, having the canopy at an angle and there is no need to come to a halt to rearrange.I have an icandy peach 3 and I have the seat parent facing. I have the elasticated string around the hood, wrap the two other strings twice around the handle and tie in a bow underneath - still allowing me ample room for my hands to push the pram. Brilliant product for the money considering there are products the same for 3x the price.

This shade works brilliantly and is great value for money, as long as you attach the elastic part under the seat enough, it will stay put. The tie strings can either be tied up to the handle or just twisted around and held in place by your hands whilst pushing the pram (ideal for when a small part of walking is with the sun facing baby and you don’t want to keep doing up the straps). Would definitely recommend this over pram umbrellas as they are more durable, less clunky, easily folds up to fit into a bag and so quick to attach/remove.

TINY! thought it would cover the top of the pram nicely to protect my 5 month baby from the sun, but it's tiiinnnyyyy, doesn't do the job properly. Really not worth it as I have to now look for another shade.

J'ai été un peu déçue au déballage du produit. Un simple plastique qui ne fait pas qualité. Facile à poser sur la poussette mais fait des plis pas très jolis. Par contre on peut le positionner dans plusieurs sens pour éviter le soleil sur le visage de bébé. Une petite pochette de rangement aurait été la bienvenue. L'idée du produit est bonne mais le plastique est à améliorer.
