Only One Bed: MM Christmas Romance (Love on the Ice)

Sweet short sexy bi-awakening romance from a well established author.Best friends since childhood discover they want to become more than best friends.Story was a decent idea however I felt it was super rushed, that it was a sudden decision from Sam, too suddenly see Etienne in a different light,although unbeknown to him Etienne had secretly been in love with him for years.The setting at a snow filled resort for Christmas break was a very appropriate best friends to lovers romantic trope.I would have preferred a longer more in depth story that included more relationship development, it seemed too easy, too accepting. The supporting cast were fun and have potential to provide a great storyline to work alongside this and future books, especially Sam's family, they sound quite the characters, hopefully Henry's book will include them.I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest opinion.

The two MM characters in “Only One Bed” are background characters in the Brooklyn Ice Hockey Series. This is a shorter story than others in the series and the two guys are younger than previous stories. Etienne and Sam also play Ice hockey and Etienne also has musical ability on piano. Sam has an older brother who is also gay and plays in a major Ice Hockey League. An easy read over a few hours.

The ice skating theme is a nice backdrop for a sweet bromance between besties. Just enough lust to keep you interested ideal gift for a brother.

Really sweet story. I kinda wondered how the story would get resolved with only a few minutes of reading time left but the author not only wrapped it up nicely, we also get a teasing insight into the next story.

After a bit of a slow start I grew to really enjoy this best friends to lovers story and the other brothers story sounds interesting too

Different storyline, Canadian skaters are putting on a show for Xmas resort guests. Long time friend accepts invite to the resort, but has to bunk with one of the stars, no problem they're old time buddies. Problems develop as only one bed, a small double. After a couple of nights they express mutual interest and everything goes swimmingly thereafter. Fun story with happy ending.

MM, Best Friends to Lovers, Bi awakening, First Time, Contemporary Holiday Romance. Easy to read page-turner with great characters and a fun sweet romance. A great read with a guaranteed HEA. Thoroughly enjoyed reading.

This was a really sweet friends to lovers story, with an interesting ice skating side-plot, some definitely foretelling of future stories, and lovely family and friends backing everything up.
