Great results so far!
For the last couple of years I have been suffering from an undiagnosed skin problem which causes me to develop red, itchy circular patches on my arms and the back of my hands - the GP thought it might be a form of discoid eczema possibly triggered by an allergy to heat/sunlight since it only occurs from Spring through to Autumn - it also appears to be age-related i.e. one of the things that us 50-something women must put up with! It's very unsightly and uncomfortable, and apart from the usual prescription hydrocortisone ointment etc, I must have spent many hundreds of pounds on various creams which promise to treat such conditions - with absolutely no success. Gold Bond has been an absolute revelation. I've only been using it for four days - already the patches are much smaller, no longer raised and itchy and I am actually starting to hope that the problem may have been solved. It's early days, but the results so far are very promising - and overall my skin looks and feels smooth and hydrated, which is a real bonus. This cream lasts well and only a small amount is needed - an application morning and evening seems to do the job, and I've found that even after 12 hours my skin is not drying out like it used to. I have even used it on my face which is prone to patches of dry skin - and this too is showing a significant improvement. I can thoroughly recommend this product.

It worked!
While I was in Canada, my skin was suffering due to the dusty, dry environment. My skin was flaking, itchy, dry and I certainly wasn't at my most attractive, unless you are into someone who resembles a shedding reptile. On the recommendation of my nurse friend, I purchased another type of Gold Bond cream. I'm always very hesitant trying new skin creams, mainly cause I seem to have an allergic reaction to everything. I'm lucky I'm not allergic to air, unless that's what asthma really is...?The cream was amazing! From first application "What is this witchcraft?!", I realised that although my skin had been dry due to the weather in Canada, it turns out it's never been like real skin at any point in my life! The only thing I can equate it to, is when I went to the opticians. That moment at the end of the eye exam when they say, for the last time, how is this? And for the first time you realise the entire world has been out of focus and the reason the cat has been ignoring you for the last 3 months, is because it's a hat and you've accidentally been living in your neighbours house. Epiphany!!Skin shouldn't feel like flaky sandpaper, apparently - who knew!Upon return to the UK, I went looking for more. This is what I found and as I also suffer from Keratosis Pilaris (yes, I am a vision to behold), I thought, why not! Let's do this! And, drum roll please, my arms have never been smoother. Yes, they are still scarred and red, but they are smooth, the condition has improved and I have finally found a cream I'm not allergic to!It is a little greasy if you use too much (I got over excited - it wasn't pretty), but if you use it sparingly, it's actually totally fine.Im now going to invest in the lotion for daily use and I can't wait... I'm easily excited.

Urea Cream no point for salicylic acid as it has petroleum
This cream is good if u have dry flaky skin like dandruff especially in winter. That's due to the urea in it. As for hopes that it will clear uneven skin no it won't. Urea adds water back in to help plump the skin but AHA only appears to be salicylic acid- I don't see anything else in the ingredients. But if u are using any AHA or BHA that helps shed the skin, the worset thing u can do is use mineral like parrafin of petroleum cos it stops the dead skin from falling off and makes it stick on which over time makes your skin uneven and shiny like plastic.nit smooth or soft clear like a baby. That said the cream once in doesn't come off because of its mineral product until u wash..If u have really bad sheddin skin u can use this or Garnier intensive extra dry ( white bottle much cheaper sold at most places like superdry, boots supermarkets)or Eurocin cream ( Eurocin it quite oily like and u have to wait until it's absobed until u can wear something if not u get oil like marks.. but it has a higher urea amount) mainly at bootsIf u are looking to even skin tone ( dead flakes and new skin in top hyperpigmentation like looking and rid those KP spots, this is not gonna do it.You might as well try Garnier black head scrub face wash with salicylic acid 2 percent as a body or shower gell. And once out if the shower, rub coconut oil and then once dry and. Absorbed out in Eurocin. If shaving though scurb with Boots's own range of fairtrade sugar scrub ( many blends but use sugar one for that exfoliation) the oils in the suger scrub will then help with shaving. So don't use a shaving cream. Their scrubs leave the thick oil like resedue after quick hold of the shower. After the shave, apply Eurocin or baby oil if u are not using any AHA anymore cos skin it clear except for KP. I did this and my husband was impry that my chicken skin legs were no more. But over time I got lazy doing scrubs and shaving and did waxes but this didn't help my skin and its now bad...I thought this cream would be a good fix but looking at the ingredients... I think this would only help After u have done some peels and had 3months or so to clear and then used this just for moisturisinv the skin to maintain some moisure
