Bought this for my sons 4th birthday. It's sized will for his age. I'd say up to a 6 year old could use it. I have an 8 year old and he hits to hard for it. It tips over when he hits it. The bottom is filled full of water. My biggest issue with this product is that it didn't come with assembly instructions and it was missing parts, washers to be specific. It's cheaply made, so not sure how long it will survive.

Its not for heavy duty punching, its a speed bag, light hitting to get your speed up

it's not super durable but it definitely would have worked for some cardio and coordination... except.the metal tubing is very thin and the part where the bag screws in actually bent (from the bag being thrown backwards each time it's punched) and.caused the bag to disconnect. i hammered the piece back into the pipe but with the bent/broken pipe the piece won't stay inside and the bag comes off every time I punch it. definitely a cool idea, not great execution (especially with the reviews about flat bags, but i didn't inflate it excessively)

So got this for my son for Christmas but when I put it together the punching bag wouldn’t screw into the pole as if some rivets hadn’t been made. So I emailed the company according to a customer service paper that was in the box. They sent me a new one immediately and I was able to construct it fully. The gloves included were too small for my 8 yr old son’s hands so we used some other ones we happened to have. My son loves to punch on it but has to put his foot on it to keep it from tipping over since we didn’t fill the base. I also added a plastic washer of my own where the bag screws into the pole as I noticed that other reviewers said thats a weak point. I think that addition makes it stronger and keeps the bag from popping off. Also good thing is that I have a second bag from the original box in case the one we’re using now pops open as I see has happened to other purchases.All in all, I like that I have something that we will give a young child an outlet for their energy and does provide pretty good hand eye coordination training. HOWEVER, their are major production flaws with this product so definitely prepare for that!!

The gloves are ridiculously cheap/worthless, but overall its a fun and useful product. Just be aware you're buying this for the punching bag apparatus and will need to get gloves somewhere else. Also, this "adult" kit is probably better described as a "big kid/preteen" kit. The "kid" sets dont go tall enough for a big kid so i ordered this.My 10yr old daughter loves it. It's actually a decent product that has so far kept her very entertained. It provides a great form of self-entertaining/motivating exercise and will definitely help to improver her hand/eye coordination skills.As i said, the gloves are COMPLETE junk. The paint on the post scratched immediately with normal use, but the function overall is perfect for a 10yr old. It has great spring pressure, the base/counterweight (using water) is solid enough for a 10yr old's punch force and the bag seems durable enough.Overall its a great beginner set up.

Let’s face it, this is the kinda toy that made China famous, it’s very cheap and flimsy. If you loctite all the screw threads and tighten down without breaking the cheap plastic you may have something your kid can use for a year or so. Best part is that it’s fairly inexpensive but that doesn’t matter if it falls apart the first day, I’ve had to put it back together a few times in the first week, and it’s supposed to be punched so don’t tell me my kid was rough with it! Also, tape the bottom “funnel” piece of the bag support to keep your kid from having bloody fingers when doing upper cuts. Yes, this will happen if you don’t!

My 6 year old has been bartering this for a year on and it’s going strong. Even the gloves have held up too. Money well spent for burning of some steam and practice the first of the skill set to box. Well made and size age appropriate. I would recommend this considering the punishment it’s had and for the price I paid. Good product if you’re thinking of buying.
