At the moment I am planning a trip to Thailand, I found this book by accident. I was actually looking for another one but I thought this one seemed even better. I find history very interesting, this book explained in detail Thailands history. Food, floating markets, culture and religion were some of the other subjects that really caught my attention. This book also has a lot of travel advices for tourists, you can also find the best places to visit to get the most out of your trip.

Excellent guide of things to do and see in Thailand. Goes in depth even giving advice on what to wear, prices and things to be cautious of.As it sits it's n excellent value for the price. I was really hoping for some more general information and advice though. Like things to pack?, is it safe to drink the water?, How is currency handled?, can I get by not knowing thai? EtcStill, good read that I will reference again.

The book is extremely short with very large print. This amounts to very little information on each area the book covers. If all you are looking for is a few paragraphs of information then this book is ok but for anyone wanting any details at all move on. This would be a grest travel book for a small child but is not terribly useful for the traveler looking for in depth information.

Much less detailed than one might expect from a travel book. Useful perhaps as a supplement to trip advisor for those who don't want to spring for Lonely Planet.

Great Information!I love to travel and I went to Thailand 8 years ago and planning to go again soon. I like the way the book was written. It’s very useful guides for major places in Thailand. It outlines places to stay, time to visit and describe in such details all the destination and point of interest in all of them, full of ideas.

I love this guide! Bought it to get ready for my trip to Thailand, and it's a huge time saver! Got really good tips on what to do when i arrive to Thailand. Also got a really good tips on a Island that I will visit, with telephone number to attractions and hotels.

Lots of great information and an easy read. I was expecting it to be a little more in depth but it gave a nice overview.
