Nakoma Rit Liquid Dye, Apple Green, 0

I tried another famous brand first that me being British knew well, sadly it didn’t work my white curtains came out white not the smoke grey they were meant to be. I love the curtains they are voile with a cotton backing, but couldn’t get them in grey. I decided to try Rit, and I couldn’t be happier the color was charcoal grey and I’m extremely pleased with the result it said put salt or white vinegar depending on the material . (I did google and watch a video) . I thought in for a penny, so I put both in, and I did them in the washing machine I did use 4 bottles, but I’m pleased so I don’t care lol. Absolutely brilliant stuff I wouldn’t use any other make again except Rit.

Dyed my clothes perfectly without issue also only lightly stained my bath and I removed the light stain with toilet bleach which took it straight off

Literally all of the dye washes out after one wash in cold water

Bought specifically for the synthetic stitching on my cotton dungarees but hasn’t changed in the slightestAlso, this dye (charcoal) is brown based, so as my dungarees were pale yellow and blue, they now look brown/purple.I did the exact same ones with a dylon pod years ago but needed synthetic for the stitching. Pointless 😔

Looks ok easy to follow instructions.

Used it on faded canvas motorcycle pannier bags (sw-motech Legend) and it worked well after 2 coats. I prepared the dye, warmed it up and painted it on with a 1" brush and left it 45 minutes, then rinsed and hung on washing line. Now they are so black I think they have their own gravitational field and not even light can escape 👌 excellent

Not as black as I had hoped for. But works well, multiple passes.

Did not get the black… more like a dirty dark grey

I used this to dye pinecones for use in decorating wreaths. This gave the cones a pale pink tint that couples well with purple and teal. No smell, stands up to rain and weather without running. My daughter used it in tie dying and found it had great functionality, sealed well for great durability of color, and found no stain resistance in the cotton fabric she used. Great value!
