THE go-to smoothie book!
I knew I had to pre-order Kathy's first cookbook when she announced it on her blog. I had been following her for a few months at the time, making things here and there, just beginning to dip my toes into vegan cooking. At first I was a little hesitant to buy a smoothie book however, just because it really wasn't a habit of mine. That's all changed! My freezer is ALWAYS stocked with bananas, as well as a plethora of fruits, assorted plant milk cubes and a few veggies thrown in.I still can't get over the fact that there is a smoothie for every day of the year! I usually stick to weekends and I love looking up whatever particular ingredient I'm into at the moment in the index and picking out the perfect recipe. I really appreciate the nutritional information as well. Sometimes I'm looking for a heartier smoothie to replace a meal or share with my husband and sometimes I just want something simple & vivacious to kick-start my weekend. There are lot of yummy-looking photos that span the rainbow to get you excited. The beginning of the book is packed with all the smoothie info you could want, as well as a complete run-down of ingredients. One last note, I have a cheap $20 blender that's been knocking out smoothies for several years now. It may take a bit longer than a fancy Vitamix or Ninja, but the final product is just as delicious!I've lost track of how many smoothies I've made, but I think my hands-down favorite is the I Heart Chocolate Shake. I usually just share this one with my husband for dessert. ;)

Delicious recipes! Highly recommended book.
I bought this book about 2-3 weeks ago and have made a different smoothie almost every day. They have all been very easy and delicious! I'm also a coffee addict and I swear I feel my addiction going away (I've been having a smoothie for breakfast). I try to eat about 60% vegan most of the time (but I still eat meat and dairy every now and then). But even if you're not a vegan and just looking for ways to get more fruits and vegetables into your diet, this book is perfect. We have a local grocery store that stocks mostly organic produce and natural products so I have no problem finding all of the ingredients (like chia seeds, for example), but most of the recipes call for everyday items you could find anywhere. The range of combinations of ingredients will keep you far from bored. I've even started making some of the chocolate/peanut butter smoothies for dessert for my husband. They are much healthier than some other things we usually eat for dessert. My biggest tip is to stock up on ripe bananas and keep your freezer stocked with them.September Update: I found the first smoothie recipe I just couldn't stomach. It was a spicy arugula and red beet smoothie. I like both ingredients but couldn't stand it as a drink and had to pour it out. I guess with 365 smoothies there are bound to be some that I don't like. I just didn't want my review to be "too" glowing. I still think it deserves a 5 star rating overall.

Good Variety and Full of Ideas
I have a lot of cookbooks and am currently following a plant-based lifestyle. My go-to smoothie and juice book has been The Big Book of Juices by Natalie Savona, but I think the 365 Vegan Smoothies may be my new favorite. It doesn't have a picture of every smoothie, but there are enough to satisfy when looking through trying to decide what to make. The font used is large, legible and the recipes are organized well with ingredients on the left and instructions on the right. Another plus is that the nutritional information is included for every recipe. I track calories, etc., and this makes it easier to decide what to make and how to account for it. The recipes are grouped according to themes: detox, energizing, slim-down, etc., which is OK, but not that necessary for me. I was much happier that the index provided listed smoothies by ingredient, so if I had plenty of kale, etc., I would know what recipes used it. I've mainly been concentrating on the watermelon recipes, which had some flavor combinations I hadn't tried or heard of before and have liked them all. I won't go five stars with my review, since I haven't had the book that long to say for sure that it has earned it. However, I was very satisfied with my purchase and am willing to recommend it to others.

Don't Hesitate, Just Buy
I have three letters for you:O.M.G.I am a long distance runner. I deal with several food issues, such as celiac's and lactose intolerance. I went vegan 6 years ago, and have been a veggie for 16 years now. That does not exclude me from being unhealthy!I am currently training for the Dopey Challenge at the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and decided that this training cycle, I was going to focus more on nutrition quality. I love smoothies, but I have one smoothie recipe and that's it. 1 cup soy milk, 1 cup frozen fruit, 1 banana, and 1/2 tbs flax seed oil, and sometimes some protein powder. That being said, I knew smoothies hold a lot of nutritional value, when utilized correctly. But I needed help!On to Amazon I went. This popped right up and I bought it immediately.Don't hesitate, just buy. This is hands down one of the best recipe books I have ever bought.Every single recipe I've made is GOLD. I'm not even 1/4 of the way through either! I can't eat the ones with nuts due to an allergy, but they sound AMAZING!Trust me, click the button, buy the book.

Fabulous purchase
This is a very good purchase for people who are new and old to smoothies a like. The majority of the smoothies are extremely tasty, and I have only encountered one so far that I did not like that much. Not only do these smoothies taste good, but they are also very good for you. I have lost 14 pounds in weight since I started incorporating a smoothie a day for breakfast. I have cut out processed foods and that including these smoothies have made me feel ALIVE!The layout of the book is good. The only reason why I have given 4 stars and not 5 is because I think the book could have done well with more pictures. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

sold as new and clearly not new
was supposed to be new but very clearly actually second hand - corners folded over, finger marks on several pages, front cover creased. also when i looked through the contents of the book it mentioned green smoothies but there are almost no green smoothie recipies and literally non that don't contain some fruit. other than that its quite nice. lots of recipies. lots of pics though only for a fraction of the recipies. but i expected that. low marks more for not being actually new not the recipies themselves.

Good starting point if you're new to
Exactly what you'd expect it to be.Lots of choice, although I find some ingredients especially hard to come by where I live. End up often taking a recepie and altering it a bit as to whatever I have lying around. Good starting point if you're new to smootthiedom
