The boots arrived sooner than I had anticipated, exactly 5 days after I ordered them. They actually fit me surprisingly well too! I say that I was shocked as I am actually a size 8. I ordered the size sixes because I simply didn't want to pass up the chance of missing them, plus its free returns so why not?I was not expecting them to do so well but found they were perfect. There's a short rubbing but this I'm sure will wear away, PLUS thick socks are always available, and fit well inside the boot despite the small size.Perhaps due to the small size, again, that the top didn't actually reach the top of my calf, or anywhere near in fact. But this didn't make difference to my appreciation of them, I found myself wrapping the laces around the top to tighten it, ans folding the top of the boots over for an entirely new look. Can't tell you how happy I am with them, but I would love for someone to find this review being in the same position as me and taking a chance because of this.GET THEMEDIT: okay so as of December, they are even better than before, no rubbing, and I've managed to manipulate them to multiple styles. E.g. the top can fold down, or you can pull your legendary over to make them out to look like shoes! Many compliments, very very happy.I got the black ones too, they're brilliant, but a little big (im a size 8) the boots were advertised size 8 but a little big. Again...GET THEM

These boots are fantastic. Don't let the relatively low price fool you, they are not made from cheap materials. The build quality is top notch, I have been wearing them probably 4 times a week for around 6 months, and they still look great. The zipper at the front is nice and chunky, all metal construction, and the laces are also of good quality. I was worried that the sole would separate from the shoe over time, but this is not the case. They are a properly solid pair of boots. They also look great with skinny jeans, or straight cut.

Considering buying a second pair of these fantastic boots, best I have ever worn. They look the part if your dressed casually or with a smarter style, and I have literally not had them off my feet for work and play for 2 years and they only just need replacing. For a boot under £40 its tremendous value. Highly recommended.
