Kill Spree (Starship for Sale Book 7)

I am still enjoying this Series. Seven books in it still engages enough to keep me coming back. It's a light-weight rollicking ride and good for time-passing on the bus etc.It is beginning to wear out its welcome, though. The fact that the past two books haven't really advanced the main story at all is beginning to make it feel like padding. I appreciate that the author isn't afraid to kill off characters but there's a distinct redshirt element to that this time around. There's also a touch too much exposition/recapping done by having characters tell other what's been happening at length. The sort of conversation most authors would complete by saying "Whilst I dressed and cleaned her wound I caught Zar up on what had happened since we'd been separated in battle." Forbes often takes us through the actual conversation and it's a tad frustrating.I hope he is not planning to extend this much longer. Progress on the main story needs to be made and, for me, an end needs to be in sight.

Just finished the seventh book in the series and now eagerly await number 8.The characters have developed and changed as the storey goes, almost as if you’re reading it in real time.Besides being full of virtually non-stop action, there’s another character development to keep you on board and for me, the humour between them really makes the books enjoyable.I don’t want to spoil any plot lines but the banter between the hero Nen, and Emerald had me laughing out loud.Great books and keep them coming Michael 👍

The adventure continues apace with more ridiculous but believable story lines very enjoyable escapism yet again thanks for the Happy new year

Enjoyed this episode in Ben's story, just all over too fast.Was most surprised at the universe link! That was a curve ball!Good series if you are checking this out, get yourself back to the first book and start at the beginning - enjoyment awaits!

I love the way this series links into the others universe and concepts. Interesting characters and good pace makes it difficult to put down
