It takes forever for my makeup to dry so I ordered these to help speed up the process. It’s a little annoying cuz it’s not the easiest to store since they’re kinda big. They get the job done though. Price seems a little high.

These are the best fans I've ever owned. They're huge, sturdy, beautiful, and they provide an ample breeze for you, the person next to you, AND the person behind you to all feel a lot better on a hot day. The fabric on these is a SUPER nice, sturdy, linen-textured material that folds and feels like the most beautiful paper. I can't believe how nice these are! Oh, and I also use them for shade! FANTASTIC value for these fans.

These fans are made with fairly thick paper and the colors are quite saturated. The ribs are sturdy and the guards, the thicker slats on each end, are heavier plastic. When the fan is fully open you will see the black guard on one end. They open smoothly but the first few times I closed them it took a bit more attention to get the ribs and the creases to line up properly.I'll be using these two fans as part of a wall-art piece, not for cooling myself down or shyly hiding my face (!) so I'm not concerned about how much abuse they can handle but judging from the construction I would think they should have a good long life.

So these are industrial stron fans when you are considering air movement. Meant more likely for decoration, but if you need to move air these will gt the job done. If you are looking for that fancy open and close flick, look elsewhere. These do open good but closing them requires an awkward fold of the frame and material. So these are not for the purse or compact.

At first I had thought these would be nice, but after further review, I have lowered my rating to 1 star. They don't open well, at all. They are a struggle to open up. I tried multiple times, having to reset them because they got twisted and would not fold back up. I have used other fans and I've never had to work so hard to get one open and then close it up again. I thought it might be a fluke for one to behave that way, but they both are equally stiff and hard to open and close. I would definitely not recommend these fans. I'm really disappointed, I was hoping they would work out much better.

I got these fans for my wife who usually keeps a small handfan with her in her purse during the hot months. I was expecting the fans to be smaller (I guess I neglected to fully read the description), and therefore more conveniently-fitting in her purse. But these fans were much larger and aren't as convenient for that purpose. These would make great decorative fans though.I also had difficulty folding them back up again. Perhaps with time, it will become easier to fold it up. Perhaps it just needs a woman's touch.The fans spread out considerably though (2 feet) due to the size, so you can generate a good amount of wind from them. But because they're so big, I found it to be inconvenient and too unwieldy to use them when fully unfurled.
