Solid, looks like its from the manufacturer, and easy to install
This is great - looks good on the truck, people think it is factory installed, easy to install, and 1/3 the price of the Toyota dealer.

Very well built and attractive - looks like a Battlestar!
I purchased a new 2021 Toyota Tacoma SR5. The dealer wanted $900 to put on some simple round bar steps and a local place wanted $700. So I took a chance and it paid off. They arrived well secured and undamaged in a very sturdy double thick cardboad box about 7' tall and a foot wide, strapped and taped secure. Once opened, they were also well protected by cushioning and the individual parts to assemble were taped down so they wouldn't slide around. They were pretty easy to assemble. Goes faster with a socket drill. The steps have to be attached to the bars so be sure to screw those in on the two outside facing screws first before tightening up any of the T-bolts from the underside. Otherwise you'll have to loosen them and do it all over - this was not mentioned in the directions I received and would definitely help future buyers. There are three very strong steel brackets for each side of the truck. They screw into pre-threaded holes that exist on the Tacoma's underside. Very easy. Tighten nice and tight but dont max it out. The rails with the steps then set on top of the brackets and screw in. Pretty straight forward. Took me about two hours with no rush, just listening to my 70s tunes out in the garage and getting after the kids for walking on my grass, and enjoyed a pepsi the whole times - so all in all an enjoyable Sunday afternoon for everyone (but the kids hahah).Once completed they held my weight fine (i'm 240 lbs) and my wife who is just 5'-4" LOVES them, makes it much easier for her to hop in. And my dad who is in his 80s will love them to. And Even though I'm 6'-1", they really help me out getting in the seat - I can just put my right foot up and just ease right in, then push of them with my left. Gets me under the low steering wheel a lot easier then without them. They're made of a very thick aluminum and and the brackets of steel. All hardware appears to be steel as well. Welds were well done. Didn't see any crack or poor work on them. BTW, the iArmor logo is cut into the rails, see thru style. They include a red decal that can be placed behind the opening to make the logo pop, but I didn't use it - i like the clean look better. What i like about these: strong, very wide steps and deep enough my size 12 shoe fits easily on it with no issue. Plus, stub wall is solid so you foot won't slip thru if there happens to be ice on the step or you misjudge it. But I doubt if ice will ever by a problems as there are several nice sized drain slots in the steps, plus grip. These make my new Tacoma look like a tank or like the Battlestar Galactica - strong, visually pleasing, and very functional. Not like those wimpy little 3" round bar steps at the dealership. I highly recommend these steps and hope they will last a long time. And if not, at the price, I'll just buy them again.

Time will tell
I am happy with the visual result of the product, however I have some reservations regarding the assembly and the quality of it.Assembly:Steps to the main bar:1 - First of all look for a smooth surface where you can enjoy a comfortable position for assembly, avoid the floor, it might scratch them, in my case I placed it on top of the dining table and carried out the assembly sitting down.2 - For the first part of the assembling process I seek help, this definitely will save you at least 30 minutes or more in this process.Assembled bar on the vehicle:1 - First mount the brackets on the bottom of the vehicle, I did not tighten the screws until the end, so this provided me with flexibility thus avoiding misalignment.2 - Once assembled, you will need 2 screws per bracket, a total of 6 on each side. I did this part of the assembly alone, I placed the screws in the main brackets with the washers and then sat the main bar and aligned it the positions.3 - after aligning with the screws, I started the gradual tightening of each of the brackets only finishing the tightening after all were aligned and fitted. Attention!!!! Do not overtighten the screws, they are fragile and break easily even when hand tightened.Quality:1 - I don't know exactly what the main bar and the steps are made of, but it is an extremely light material. I'm also not sure about the durability of the material and its paintwork, only time will tell and I'll update this review if necessary.2 - The steps and the main bar are apparently made of the same material, the screws are not stainless steel and will certainly rust with exposure to weather conditions, which will certainly make removal difficult over time.3 - Some screws are sent as spares, do not discard them and have them on hand, you may need them due to their fragility and poor quality.

Nice look
Step side where pretty easy to install. Really has a sharp look to them. All around pretty sturdy. Would recommend lock tight as added protection on the frame rails. Would recommend the step side.

Sharp running board.
Nice looking and easy accessible runners. Reasonable priced compared to others I looked at. The TDR Off Road is quite high and these help a lot getting in. I upgraded the connection bolts to stainless steel. The t connectors will be interesting to see how well they hold up.

Love the look, hardware is beyond cheap
I replaced the main bracket bolts (that mount to frame) with stainless to avoid rust. The t bolts that are used to attach steps to brackets are absolute trash. They strip from the slightest amount of torque while installing the locking nuts. I was not over tightening whatsoever. One bolt snapped as I was just starting a nut.I do love the look of them. But I would advise replacing all the hardware. Also I wish there was no iarmor cutout
