It worked! This TPMS turned itself on.
Bought four new tires at Sam's Club, asked that they install new TPMS on ALL four wheels because one bad. They said would do that. After old tires off was called and told Sam's TPMS would not work on my 2022 Honda Pilot. Told mechanic to use 3 old TPMS and put plain valve to replace bad TPMS. Bought this TPMS through Amazon to replace valve. For $18 tire shop substituted Amazon TPMS for valve, saying they could not "turn it on". I said okay, this one does not need to be turned on. After install, this TPMS works perfectly! No thanks, Sam's Club. Thanks, Amazon!!!
