It does work well as it has a very smooth slide to it and was incredibly easy to put together. I needed to order a new waste basket for it too but needed not over 22" in height due to the size of our cabinet. I do believe it's large enough to hold any reasonably sized 13 gal or a bit larger basket.

This rack is fairly sturdy and assembled easily from the box. It comes already in the tracks, so you just have to pop the pieces together. There is no bin included, so you can either provide your own or use the rack for other pull out needs. Keep in mind the base is just a few wires, so you’ll have to put a board in the bottom if you want something smaller than a cookie sheet in there. I used a piece of the box it came in to reinforce the base so I could set two smaller bins into the rack.The installation DOES require a drill, because you have to screw it into the base of your cabinet. Screws are included. The tracks have a little resistance that means you can’t just set it in the cabinet and pull out, it has to be anchored (which is likely wise to counterbalance the trash can when pulled out). It doesn’t extend the full length of the rack, but enough to reach the top of your can.Overall it’s a nice little rack with a few installation drawbacks. But it seems to work well so far. Be sure you measure the area and don’t put it too far too the side so the pull-out track gets blocked by the edge of the door—speaking from experience there!

This is very well made. This was a snap to install and is solid. It was adjustable to my (not included) garbage can. I am very happy with this.

It was only the stand, and does not include the trash container. This was disappointing as it is not as shown.
