Brilliant!!!
It is brilliant. It does the job of reaching the parts in between your shoulder blades - perfect. Easy to use. It is a good quality product and I would definitely recommend it.

BRILLIANT
Oh how I wish I'd had this years ago!!!! It really does work. Bought the duo pack of 2 applicators, one for use at home for moisturisers/aftersun and one to keep in beach bag for sun cream. Only complaint is there is only one bag to keep them in, would have like 2, one for each. (Will have to buy another one!) It's easy to use and nice and soft and bendy, enabling you to apply creams really well. Can reach all of back by using from reaching from top and reaching from bottom. My husband is lousy at applying sun cream on my back, the times I have burnt!!!! Never again with this. I really do highly recommend it. Well worth the money.

A great tool
A clever idea and it does allow you to reach where you cant to put on pain relief creams and the like. Its pricey for what it is but the pads last well, are washable and the item is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

A treat for dry skin
I have been searching for a practical way to apply creams and lotions to my back, but without much luck. Some applicators were too rough on the skin, some were too messy, some were too brittle and soon cracked. Finally, success! The BackBliss not only makes application easy, it feels like a gentle, luxurious massage! A treat rather than a treatment for my dry skin. The BackBliss is obviously designed to be trouble-free, avoiding the flaws I found in other brands. The sponge pad is soft, stays put, and is easy to rinse out while still in the holder. The holder itself, while lightweight, seems indestructible, so I can travel with it.It’s also versatile. I use BackBliss to apply delicate moisturiser as well as heavier eczema cream. It spreads smoothly and evenly, bringing much needed relief to parts of my back I can’t reach. In fact, it’s so soothing, I also use it on areas I CAN reach -- shoulders, arms and legs.I’m delighted to have found such a simple yet satisfying way to revitalise my dry skin, and highly recommend it.UPDATE: ONE MONTH LATERHave been using BackBliss Lotion Applicator twice a day for about a month, and am extremely impressed – it is not only easy to use, but is really helping improve the condition of my skin. Am also enjoying benefits of the BackBliss Scratcher. You won’t be disappointed with these superb products.

Good but regular use caused bleeding in finger from hard lumps on handle
I suffer from eczema on my back - which as you can imagine is virtually impossible for me to apply cream on - this applicator stick thing looked perfect! The back applicator does an an ok job of applying emollient cream to my back - but it doesn't blend at all so I found I ended up very sticky.I've since bought a roller applicator stick and that does a much better job of blending the cream.Lasts a good month or more before needing to replace the pad. However my reason for the 2 stars and for switching to a different a different applicator was that after a few weeks of use the small and slightly sharp nodules in the handle ( for grip ) caused broken skin and bleeding in my finger. It was from the way I needed to hold it for applying cream to the top of my back and due to the fact I'm having to apply cream 4 times a day - so a lot of use.If I wasn't using it so frequently I suspect I may not have had this issue. Or if the nodules on the handle were made of soft rubber - that would also have prevented the issue.I've attached a photo of the injury the applicator caused - not exactly major injury but broke skin and painful enough to switch to a different brand. If you are just using the applicator a few times a week I suspect this issue may not happen.Anyway I've switched to a new brand now.

Handy!
Being a single person can be tricky applying sun cream to my back. This clever thing makes applying sun cream very easy. It helps me to reach parts of my back that my arms don't! For perfect all over tan without patches that burn!

Disappointing.
After struggling in a solo holiday I decided to purchase one for this years summer holiday. (Last year I had bought a wooden back brush in Greece and just dropped dollops of cream on the back of it).I found this way too short with too small a surface area. I don’t have the longest arms and find I’m struggling to reach awkward bits of the back (the whole purpose of buying this) and that the pad is too small.I also find plastic handle very slippy (wood not so slippy) and the plastic bit with the pad on often falls out of the handle while you are applying.Definitely not a good 15 quid purchase.
