The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter

Our little girl enjoyed it but it comes under the same bracket as never meet your heroes. I remember this as a kid and remember it being amazing and loving it so thought I would watch for the nostalgia. How wrong I was. Not a patch on the first one. So many parts I remembered wrong or weren't even there, how distorted childhood can be. But how easily pleased children can be as my 8 year old loved it, happy to see Falcor again and wondering if we can have a luck dragon!

If you are expecting the same nostalgic magic that Never-ending story delivered, you will be disappointed. It lacks the same charm, also all the main characters are different, even the voice of the Rock eater isn't the same. All in all, it's a let down.

Oh my, I’d forgotten how bad this was. Just wanted to extend the Neverending story magic with my daughter but ended up giving her nightmares of shaky sets and bad puppets instead

Seemed better when i was younger. Jonathon Brandis aside, the acting is poor. Misses the point of the part of the book the script is taken from, overly cheesey.

Very poor movie...the 'special' effects were worse than a B movie..Don't waste your money and time on this drivel

The first Neverending Story is by far the best. This one was just awful. Rubbish story line. They should have just left it at the first one.

An oldie but a goodie. Who doesn't relive childhood and love Falkore!
