I loved this toy for my baby. However, the turtles legs can potentially smash little fingers. I noticed my baby reaching for the toy, and I grabbed the foot to bring it closer to us. When the legs were moving, it pinched my finger pretty hard. The setting to turn on the movement is on the top, so continuous direct supervision is definitely required.

Within the first few hours my 7 month old pulled the phone right off. Could definitely become a choking hazard if she put the string in her mouth. Does not move on carpet at all, which has better grip when your baby is learning how to crawl. Good concept and cute toy but wouldn’t purchase again.

I had to buy 2 because my daughter and her twin brother both have 5 month old daughters (my son has twin girls) so I wanted them all to have this adorable walking turtle. They loved it instantly. None are crawling yet but the lights and music gets them excited so they will crawl soon so they can catch the musical turtle.

What a cute toy. The babies in the house enjoyed playing with it and crawling after it as it walked around the floor. However on day two, all sound stopped. Lights still work and it still crawls but we can not get sound at all. I even in day three switched out to another set of batteries and it still does not make sound.

Much smaller than anticipated and does not operate as well as expected. Returned for refund.
