I love these plant theatre products!! Bought this one at the wrong time of year to use as this is seasonal, but I have bought a few of these kits previously and they are lovely. Great as gifts! They come with cute little pots to set your seedlings until they can be transferred to a larger tray or pot! Lovely little kits for anyone wanting to grow something unique!

Taken a while to add a review because I waited to see if the fruit grew. Box is small and does not look worth the £15 paid, but the fruits did grow (no thanks to the British weather!!). Not prolific results, but as a starter, to nudge interest, the pack was good.

2 months in... I had quite a low hit rate with this kit. The strawberries didn't germinate and the golden Berry grew leggy and died. But I learned a lot! The Goji Berry seeds produced 2 strong plants and I still have seeds left. The melon seeds also produced some really strong plants.. unfortunately the one pictured is a bit unhappy (my fault! not enough light), but it's getting a lot of TLC and will hopefully bounce back. I would recommend this kit, the information booklet is helpful and it would make a lovely gift.

The quality of the items was exceptional and instructions were included for potting/planting.

I bought this product a few months ago and planted all the seeds as told to. All but one set of seeds germinated, which was very pleasing to see. However, a couple of weeks after the stalks had poked out of the mud, another set of seeds had died, the stalks were quite small at the time. Now, months after I bought this, all but one of the plants have died. The one plant that is alive however is doing quite well. Shame none of the others had a decent lifespan.

Okay so a family member bought me the bonsai kit and I bought myself the forbidden fruit kit. Since the 17th of April, all but the golden berry has started growing which is amazingly quick. The melon seeds especially have just shot up. I bagged them all until now as stated but the bonsai tree pots are covered in mold and fungai. They seem to be from different companies so if you do buy a kit and keep them moist this way do be careful. This company seems to have solved this problem but many have not. I think it’s the wooden sticks but I’m not sure. My brother is allergic to mold so as a warning to any who are too, do be careful!

Perfect if you're just starting out and want to try some unusual things. The kit comes with smaller packs of seeds, which is great as usually you're left with hundreds that you might never use. The compost discs and decomposable pots are great too. I found that things get a bit rootbound if you plant in the pot, so I'd recommend wetting the pot and teasing the pot off of the roots and then potting on. This happens with all compostable pots though. I really can't fault the set, the instructions are easy to follow too. I have bought others from this collection and was equally as pleased.

Just planted the seeds and looking forward to planting out the seedlings once they have germinated. This makes a great gift - the packaging is excellent and all equipment is provided. The booklet explains everything in detail. Can't wait to reap the rewards!
