For the safety of our customers, our standard bead polystyrene cavity wall insulation is manufactured with a Flame Retardant additive and tested to BS476 part 12: 1991 Quantities Available (Cubic feet/Litres): 1CF/28Ltrs, 2CF/57Ltr, 3CF/85Ltr, 4CF/113Ltr, 5CF/142Ltr, 6CF/170Ltr, 7CF/198Ltr, 8CF/227ltr, 9CF/255tr, 10CF/283Ltr Approx bead size (inches/mm): 0.2"/5mm Polystyrene Insulation Guidance: - Care must be taken when installing PVC cables, to ensure that they do not come into contact with polystyrene insulation. A chemical reaction takes place between the PVC sheath and the polystyrene, resulting in a migration of polymers with the cable, known as 'marring'. If this occurs, there is a risk of fire. Custompac Ltd cannot be held responsible for improper installation.

Bought this product on advice of builder to fill a cavity wall that had no insulation in it. The leftover material is being used to fill a bean bag seat
