I purchased this as I snapped the original one that came with my Bosch Jigsaw, it is to help me construct a Garden Building, so lots of cutting OSB and treated timbers. Good thick blade, robust, my only criticism is the cutting direction on the blade is the wrong way round for my use meaning it wants to grab at the wood. Unfortunately, you can't turn it round but I can live with it for now.

Had to trim some kitchen cabinet kickboards down after the floor height had increased and these did the job just fine. I used some Frog tape over the melamine(?) covered chipboard (both sides), marked the trim line and jigsawed them down. The resulting cut was pretty good with minimal chipping and as you'll never get up close, I'm happy with the results. The blades did seem thicker than the stock Bosch ones I had, and noticed the quick release jaws didn't seem to close fully, but the blade was definitely locked into place. Take note - I'm no expert DIY'er but reasonably competent so it's probably my lack of experience regarding the fit of other blade types.Overall very happy and a great price for 5 blades.

Don't be scared of down cut blades, you're holding the jigsaw onto the workpiece regardless of up/down cut.Used for a diy project cutting 18mm hardwood ply. Got the whole project done with 1 blade, including some tight corners that really needed a narrower blade, although these did cause some burn marks.Using masking tape on the reverse side helps to reduce tear out but there will still be some as is the jigsaws nature when cutting ply, a sacrificial piece of wood may help further but will slow the cutting speed.

These blades aren't for me, ordered on behalf of someone else who swears by them! Uses them for carpentry and he loves how the teeth face in the other direction to most blades and this ensures a very clean cut.They are a lot cheaper than b&q and the exact same thing.Packaging wise they came in a cardboard envelope as opposed to a box to keep them compact and lessen the likelihood of them breaking during delivery.They last a fair amount of time, when using them to cut hard wood flooring for a large living room we went through 3 blades and started a 4th, you should take into consideration though that only a small section of the blade gets used as flooring is thinner than other carpentry projects.Would have no problem recommending.

I find these are much better than other jigsaw blades around the same price. They are less prone to jerking back, and last longer. They do struggle doing corners, getting quite burnt, but that goes for all blades around this budget but it also depends on the experience and skill level of the user. Definitely the best ones for laminate flooring for this budget.

By choice I prefer to use BOSCH BLADES.
