Great mat for under machines
I use these mats for under my stationary machines (bike and stairclimber). The size is perfect for my set-up (31.5 x 59) as it does not impede on the floor space too much and covers exactly the area sweat falls so I can wipe up easily. The quality seems great so far. I also like the fact that these mats are not too thick. I have mine over carpet and I didn't want anything too thick for my application. I just wanted to protect the floor from sweat. Most of the mats I found were either too thick (like the ones used for under weights), or the material was not easily wipeable. I am very happy with this purchase.

Good quality
Nice mat. Sturdy and the right length for my husband’s bike.

More like a yoga mat
While this will work well under a stationary bike to help dull any vibrations, don't expect it to dull them all. The material is more like a yoga mat than an equipment pad. It works as I intended it to. Keeps any movement of my small bike from sliding across the garage floor when being used by a large person so I can say I am very happy with it. The yoga mat under my couch to protect hard wood floors does slide.Overall it is a good product that does the job described in the ad. I may get another to put under the heavy bag stand and hope it helps with vibrations and movement there as well.

Good, basic mat
Good quality, using to set a recumbent bike on so it doesn’t mark up floor. Perfect size.

This is my mat, Matt...
There are many like it, but this one is mine. When Matt first came to me, he was all rolled up (a bit shy, I believe) but quickly unrolled into his full PVC magnificence. Matt has a bit of an odor when first unrolled (like a pool float or similar PVC object) which some may find objectionable, but his BO seemed to mostly clear up after a day or so.While marketed as a bike mat, Matt could be used in any variety of ways, as long as those ways are not too violent or stressful. Matt would probably not last too long as a deadlift mat, for example, like a thick rubber "stall mat" would, but then that is not what he is designed for. He's quite slick, literally, which can be good (easy to clean, will not absorb sweat, will resist staining) and it could be bad (slippery when wet, perhaps) and light enough to move easily should the need occur.Matt is pictured below with a loaf of bread for size perspective.I am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Durable. Slick. Cuts easily.
I bought this for a slightly different use case. I needed something to protect my new powder-coated dumbbell stand from my metal hex dumbbells (not rubber). This durable mat did the trick. It was long enough to fully cover my rack’s rows (60”), easy to cut straight with a box cutter blade, and durable enough to withstand me re-racking my weights in a not-so-gentle manner. I attached it to the metal with contact adhesive and it’s holding up well. Before I cut it up, I did put my Schwinn IC4 bike on the mat, and it fit great. The footprint was the right size and it held up to a quick spin with ease. No slippage or weird tilting of my machine with this on carpet either! The only thing I don’t prefer on this is the texture and sheen, and the logo they put on it. I like my stuff unbranded mostly.

Not great for absorbing vibrations but would work to keep equipment in place and sweat off the floor
I received this mat for free in return for my honest opinion in a review.I got this mat to use under my recumbent trike to dampen the vibrations when I ride indoors. I live on the 2nd floor of a private house and my landlord is sensitive to noise we make. In reading some of the reviews, I thought it would help. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The Good:The mat is a decent length and width and my trike fits perfectly. Just for reference, the front wheel track is 29". It will work great on a 2 wheel bike with no issues and should be able to handle an exercise bike as well.It stays in place on both carpet as well as my wood flooring. I would think that on a rowing machine it would work very well. The Bad:The mat is thin and, while it may absorb some vibrations, it's more like a yoga mat then trainer. My old training mat was much thicker and when I stepped on it and lifted my foot, you could see my foot print and it took a few seconds to go back to its shape. This one is just a thin layer of foam and when stepped on, doesn't have any real give to it. One review had mentioned they got it to use for jumping rope. Based on how thin this is, I don't think it would offer any impact protection for your knees. The mat, right out of the box, has a very strong chemical smell. You are going to want to air it out. It is also very tightly wrapped. Great for shipping, but it is going to take a day or two to flatten out completelyIf you are looking for a mat to keep your tires off the floor when on a trainer, or to soak keep the sweat off of your floor while you train, this mat will fit the bill nicely. If, on the other hand, you want something to minimize vibrations and reduce noise, you are better off spending a bit more money and looking elsewhere.

It’s a great mat. Big enough for my recumbent bike. Have one for my workout bench as well.

Half and half satisfied
After few months of using it with my bike trainer, I found out today that the place where to trainer was sitting is now thin as a paper and I doubt it will be recover soon. Let’s see in a couple of days, anyway, I’ll need to put additional mats to make sure this one goes through another couple of bike training season.
