Stanley 0-35-229 2m Plastic Folding Rule

I previously had similar folding rulers of unknown make and decided to get a better one. This one is certainly better. It is very good quality and the numbers/lines are clearly visible to ease marking/measuring. The sections nicely pop into position so you will always have a straight ruler and don't have to second guess if the sections are in-line. Very happy with it and would recommend buying.

I was introduced to the 'tum stoc' in Sweden where all craftsmen use these. They're much better than tape measures in most instances: you can reach 2m upwards without it collapsing down, use it to cut plasterboard or mark sheet materials by holding your thumb on the desired measurement place the blade or pen at the other end and draw down the sheet. These things are great. Of course they don't last forever, but at this price they are practically disposable after a few years. I knew a guy who produced a scal where you could use it as a protractor. I wonder whatever happened to him?

It is white which putting into oil tank can't see the result

I am surprised that this measure is only in metric but this is a really well made quality item and perfect for measuring for drawing and designing.

I had something similar which I cannot find so this is an excellent replacement. The only proviso is that when fully extended it seems a bit fragile.

It took awhile to figure out how to open up the ruler. Not suitable for my project but excellent quality
